The first few months found positive effects & less dryness down below but last week started feeling unwell, shivery, headaches & vaginal spotting & had been getting tinnitus for a few months although didn't connect it to using Vagifen .. I'm post menopausal so flagged up with Dr, referring me to hospital but I'm sure it's the medication .. stopped taking it immediately but symptoms slowly easing off
Won't be using it again.. hopefully it works for some people but now need to look for something natural to help with dryness

I'm no longer taking this medication. I stopped using these a few days after starting. I haven since added hyaluronic acid pills w/Vitamin C; and collagen capsules which seem to be helping some with the dryness.
I feel well on it and my skin is looking amazing. If I had a lover he'd be a Happy man!

Couldn't continue beyond 6 days I had stomach cramps from the first day which just increased the more days I used it by day 3 had terrible diarrhoea, this is my 2nd attempt at using this and it did exactly the same 1st time soI know it was the vagifem will never use it again I feel so unwell hoping it settles soon
The most intense abdominal and back pain with a constant and painful need to urinate all the time, often waking me in the night. The pain became so bad that I visited the ED. A CT scan brought up a large ovarian cyst which I knew I had but had increased in size. I now wonder if this could be due to vagifem. Almost a constant headache and feelings of low mood as though I was very disconnected from my life. It sounds dramatic but I really thought I had something very wrong with me.
I cannot tell you how grateful I was to read how other people felt on this terrible medication. I have no clue whether it even helped with the original symptoms I took it for as the side effects were so awful I thought I was dying!!! It should not be allowed to be prescribed without warnings of the side effects. I feel as though I have been poisoned. I stopped taking it after 10 days and can not wait to feel my normal self again. I will also be going down the natural route from now on. I never want to feel like this again.

After 1 dose I developed a bad headache, nausea and stomach pain. After reading all the negative reviews I have decided not to continue taking this drug. Especially as it may also cause hair loss. I'm surprised that such a low dose can cause so many side effects.

Stupidly, I never associated these side effects with using Vagifem and never realised until I was diagnosed with atrial fibrillation and the dr suggested I might want to come off the medication. At that point I did my research. All of my symptoms disappeared but left with high blood pressure

Did loading for two weeks. Then took every other day, on recommendation. Gave me nausea,.loss of appetite, bloating, constipation, depression. Have now stopped using.
This is my second time using. First time, I dropped to twice weekly and had horrible mood swings. I'm on an antidepressant already.

Had vagifem before on it 5 yrs came off started to experience vaginal discharge decided to take a break for a year .went back on it 4 days ago coming off it took a very bad reaction to it. Very bad swelling burning discharge. Would not recommend it for any woman .
Would not recommend vagifem .something seriously wrong when a product can cause very serious side effects to a woman body. Manufacturers need to go back to drawing board if not prepared to do that it should be taken of the market
Urinary problems caused by atrophy
OK for first 8 or 9 days then started with bloating. I looked pregnant. My abdomen, especially lower, was uncomfortable. I then started with what felt like gas pains and nausea. It was really bad to the point I was pacing around the bedroom. Lasted a few days.
I stopped taking the vagifem and the side effects when away quite quickly. It's a shame as it had reduced some of the atrophy symptoms.
This is the worse drug I have ever tryed, stomach cramps started within days, hot flushes and insomnia dispite being on systemic hrt for years, but the hell it caused was way worse than my symptoms for using it, my vagina got swollen itchy and hot, my vulva was beyond burning had to have an ice pack between my legs almost constantly, and to top it off I constantly felt like I had a uti eventually stopped and those issues went away.
You are so lucky if you use this and its actually helps your symptoms, reading on here the majority suffer worse for using it, don't be fooled into using more thinking you need a bigger dose of it, the uti feeling was the worst it completely irritated my bladder I couldn't even sleep it was that bad, a horrible drug, when will these companies make a vaginal estrogen that doesn't cause so much irritation.

These symptoms are caused by the body making less estrogen. When treating only vaginal symptoms of menopause, products applied directly inside the vagina (such as this medication) should be used first. I switched from Cymbalta because my doctor was unable to get cymbalta samples due to it becoming a generic drug. With blue cross insurance the generic was still over 300 dollars per month which I could not afford. VIIBRYD was a nightmare. I now take Effexor xr. Less stomached but it hasn't helped the depression.

Be very careful if you take this drug. I am writing on behalf of my husband who died of leukemia 1 1/2 years after beginning to take this drug. Always had his bloodwork, but some leukemia's develop soooo fast they may not catch it in your blood until it's totally taken over the marrow. Do you really want to play with your bone marrow to keep yourself from a flare-up ??
I have a history of sinus pressure on the inner ear causing vertigo, particularly when flying. Nasonex was used for about 10 days when symptoms appeared. I am highly sensitive to various drugs so when symptoms appeared, I immediately suspected Nazonex. Stopped using it and, except for the cataract, all symptoms resolved in about 48 hours.
I have been taking Allegra 180 for at least 3 yrs now. im now having panick attacks, heart beating out of control at times, restless and cant sleep. Asked mutiple docs if this med is doing this too me. All of them say no. Ive never had pannick attacks until now. Ive worried myself to having high blood presure and now taking lexapro for the anxiety. Sometimes I think Allegra has caused the high blood presure. I just want to be well.
I was 10 years of age when I started taking concerta. I stopped taking medication when I was 16. In this 6 years I was on 3 different kinds of medication. The concerta was by far and away the worst. I had bad paranoia, anxiety, I would fidget, fell sick, was physically sick several times which caused me to heave every time I took them and had suicidal thoughts. I still have mild paranoia to this day, I am now nearly 20 years old. It really was terrible.
