Slow heartbeat, weight gain, slight depression
This drug did what it was supposed to do: lowered my eye pressure. However, being a runner both before and after this medication was prescribed to me, I discovered almost immediately that it was difficult for me to run the same hilly routes as before. I believe that the beta-blocker has a tendency to retard the heart rate, as I found it difficult to reach and maintain my target heart rate. Using the occlusion technique when administering the drops was of some help, but I still noticed a big difference when my eye doctor eventually switched me to a different medication.
Mild and transient stinging upon application. Blurred vision for a short period after application.
A very effective medication. But because it containes a gel to control the rate of release, it results in a little blurred vision for the first hour. For the same reason, it works better than Timoptic (non-XE) or Timolol Maleate
TIMOPTIC-XE (TIMOLOL MALEATE): This medication is used to treat high pressure inside the eye due to glaucoma (open angle-type) or other eye diseases (e.g., ocular hypertension). Lowering high pressure inside the eye helps to prevent blindness. This medication works by decreasing the amount of fluid within the eye. Timolol belongs to a class of drugs known as beta-blockers. Total loss of appetite and decreased urge to smoke/cigs taste yucky--those are the great effects. Very angry/ irritable with everyone one moment and crying uncontrollably the next are the horrible side effects.
I don't understand why I have been bleeding for a month!! It's confusing. And I'm not sure but my bipolar seems worse?

Worked ok for erection, but the side effects were brutal. Felt like I hade the flu for a few days after taking it. Not worth it for the side effects.

Switched to Ovcon-35 due to lack of sex drive on previous pill. This pill fixed that, much to my delight, but my breasts are now huge and are often tender. I can't even wear some of my bras anymore. I have also developed pretty bad acne problems, and always feel bloated and large. I've looked at myself in the mirror some days and my stomach just looked like a swollen balloon. I seem to have gained 5-10 lbs while on this pill, although I guess I can't be sure the pill actually caused the weight gain. But definitely there has to be some weight gain from all the water retention. I am switching to a different one.
At first, I took Wellbutrin XR at 150 mg as a free sample from my Dr. After two days, I discontinued due to unsettling nervousness/shakiness and disturbing anxiety. After trying a couple of Wellbutrin SR versions from a friend and finding it to be quite different, I decided to go back and get the regular pill. After a month or so, I settled on Wellbutrin XR 300 mg daily.
No side effects that I know of. But after a round of Flagyl my diarrhea and nausea is back. Terrible stomach pain in lower left. This started in July 2016 to present. I have lost weight, eating yogurt, lots of water. But cannot eat a meal! It either goes right through me or I vomit. I'm going on month 2 now.
Very tired. Nauseous and dizzy after applying which would wear off eventually by afternoon Total lack os sleep. Had to get sleeping pills from doctor.
This drug is brutal. Take at your peril!
