Prevnar 20 vaccine (pneumococcal 20 valent conjugate vaccine) Side Effects, Uses Dosages

Side Effects for Prevnar 20 vaccine (pneumococcal 20 valent conjugate vaccine)

Vaccine was given a week ago. A golf ball sized swollen knot developed & painful arm at injection site. Feel tingly and burning all over. Scratchy throat, runny nose & sinus pressure and aching muscles. My allergy doctor prescribed a steroid cream for the swelling and Prednisone if needed.

1st dose of Prevnar 20. Administered by Pharmacist at Walgreens

Sore and stiff arm that received the vaccine injection. Lymph nodes swollen under both arms, although, that also happens when I get the flu shot. My neck, shoulders and upper back ache and hurt. My arms and legs ache and my calf muscles hurt so much, it's hard to walk. I ache all over like I have the flu. Experiencing chills, so I've been in bed and under two blankets today. My stomach (abdomen) is very bloated and I feel a little nauseated. I'm extremely weak and fatigued.

This is the first time I've ever had any type of pneumonia vaccine.

Had the Prevnar 20 vaccine five days ago, and I had no side effects whatsoever, not even a sore arm. Definitely recommend.

Prevnar 20 vaccine is one vaccine only. I had the vaccine administered at a pharmacy in mid November 2023.

Mild fatigue. Highly recommend this vaccine

Bloating, constant feeling of fullness, burping, headaches. It feels like digestion has come to complete halt and the last 3 meals I've eaten are still hanging out in my stomach.

I've been taking .25-.5 mg 3 times a day. This drug works, but I found that I could not taper the dose very easily without getting nervous. This drug is effective but I think I would rather take Klonopin which has a longer half life and less habit forming potential.

Felt like I developed IBS, arthritis, and the flu with a big headache to top it all off. Actually the headache came first. I was about to start having all the tests, MRI, Colonoscopy, upper GI and the works. I had a suspicion that it might be the Lamisil. I'm so glad I found this site and realized there are so many others with the same side effects. I feel like I'm falling apart all at once.

Extreme tiredness, couldn't get up in the morning (took at bedtime), brain fog, mood swings. It's hard to think clearly at work because I feel so out of it. Can't tolerate this medicine mostly due how fatigued and lethargic I feel the day after taking it.
