REMICADE (INFLIXIMAB): This medication is used to treat certain types of arthritis (rheumatoid arthritis, arthritis of the spine, psoriatic arthritis), certain bowel diseases (Crohn's disease, ulcerative colitis), and a certain severe skin disease (chronic plaque psoriasis). In these conditions, the body's defense system (immune system) attacks healthy tissues. Infliximab works by blocking the actions of a certain natural substance (tumor necrosis factor alpha) in the body. the 1st week I had severe mood swings//anger outbursts! I have felt so spacey and like I can't talk--even when I need to talk such as in my college classes when my Prof. asks me a question! I also can't stop moving my hands/arms/legs for a couple hrs after taking it--so now I take it in the evening-it's embarressing at school ! I have also lost 5 lbs in 2 weeks! I love how it makes me not want to eat and also my OCD is back BIGTIME! All I do is clean like a fiend and exercise--I love the energy !! The only bad thing is that I smoke even more now! I am so anxious and nervous that I smoke more :(
severe dry mouth, which as mentioned before drinking more water is never a bad thing. Sweating more than usual and somewhat drowsy.
About 1 year ago, I started to get some mouth problems. At first it was a metalic taste and dry feeling, but also a lot of saliva. This got worse and worse over time. I asked for help from everyone. Doctor, dentist, neuro, hygenist. They all said my mouth looked normal, but one said she could refer me to a dermatologist. I lived with it, then 10 days ago I got a rash. The neuro switched me to lamictal. All was fine for first three days. I felt better than I had in 2.5 years. Then I increased dose to 50mg2x/day and had two seizures. Then I when the dose was to 75mg2x/day, I got the same mouth problem as with the keppra, but 10x worse. Yesterday, I got the rash again, only it came on in 30 minutes (instead of over three days like with the keppra) and is much worse than on the keppra. Apparently my body is rejecting both of these meds. Now, I have to change again and all the options sound really bad. I'm really scared.

Mucinex Sinus Max - nervousness, nauseated, jittery, took @ 10pm. Slept til 2am & have pretty much been up since (24 hrs later). Got a little better @ about 15 hrs but then came back & diarrhea started! Miserable!!

On HRT for 3 years since early menopause at 46. My tests showed no estrogen production and I was given an estogen patch and Prometrium pill daily- no breaks. I started suffering severe heatburn and digestive problems shortly after and have been working with doctors, medications and diet since. It's been so bad, I've had to sleep upright the whole time. I was assured by Doctors that it couldn't be the prometrium, but last month I thought I should experiment (no options left)and switched to a progesterone cream. The heartburn was completely gone within 3 days! The diarrhea is much better as well. My Doctor said that the Prometrium is filtered through the liver and that may be where the problems began.
was switched to Protonix from Nexium due to insurance coverage and was switched back to Nexium only been on it a few days this time I felt short of breath at night, sweaty, hands and legs felt like pins and needles, VERY anxious at night, panic attacks, insomnia
