Synalar (fluocinolone acetonide) Side Effects, Uses Dosages

Side Effects for Synalar (fluocinolone acetonide)

Excellent drug that works very quickly, no side effects. Generic available. Keeps eczema under control and now only need it occasionally. Comes in two strengths. In the palm of my hand I mix it with a little neutrogena emulsion lotion to spread it over a larger area if needed.

SYNALAR (FLUOCINOLONE ACETONIDE): This medication is used to treat a variety of skin conditions (e.g., eczema, dermatitis, allergies, rash). Fluocinolone reduces the swelling, itching, and redness that can occur in these types of conditions. This medication is a medium-strength corticosteroid. A bit of itchiness and a tad insomnia.

HATED it! This was the worst med I have tried. It made me feel like I was wired all day long, and my anxiety was still there, completely. Had to go off of it, but that process was even worse...

I was on Corgard for about 8 years and really liked it. Kept my heart beat regular. No side effects. Then my cardiologist changed me to Coreg and I hate it. I've gained 17 pounds in 4 months with no change in diet or exercise. I will ask my doctor to put me back on Corgard.

No side effects. This drug has been a life saver for me. I take one in the morning and one at night if I need it almost every day.

Nausea, tiredness, aching body. Medicine cleared my lungs but the side effects were not pleasant. I thought I was not getting better and had something else until I searched the Internet!

Do NOT take restasis. It is not worth the side effects, and honestly, the research and current medical understanding of this drug is poor at best.

NO LONGER WILL I TAKE THIS, DO NOT TAKE IF SENSITIVE TO ANXIETY. I FIND DIET N EXERCISE WORK BEST FOR ME WITH HEART BURN.

I have taken high blood pressure meds for 25 years. During that time I have taken numerous other brands but they would not hold my pressure within an acceptable range. BP would often go as high as 180/110 at times and I would feel bad. Avapro has kept my pressure about 120/70 most of the time (sometimes lower) and only occasionally gos up to 140/85. I have felt better on Avapro than I did on any of the other blood pressure medicines and it has worked better for me. I am basically a pretty active senior person. I do have a dry cough sometimes. I take Avapro at night. I have not had dizziness, muscle weakness, aches or pains other than normal for my age?. I guess Avapro agrees with me pretty well. I recommend you try it - ask your doctor.

I really have had no side effects whatsoever in the two years that I have been taking this medication. I have suffered no sexual side effects, haven't gained any weight and haven't had any skin reactions. I consider this wonderful especially in view of my age. I will take this as long as I need birth control.

Never take this. Ever. It may work, or not, and it's not worth the risk when there are safer things to use. We still don't know how long the side effects last, but in some people it has been years with no change or improvement.
