At first felt very energetic but couldn't get an appetite, throughout duration, have had worse gas then ever
I love this though, I've been on antidepressants, antiiflamatory joint medications, as well as multiple more, this has been amazing, it's crazy this last month though, I'm more sluggish, not like I was before being on Levothryroxine but more then the first 2 months. And now I'm hungry a lot more then I was before
This medication resolved many of the health effects I was having from auto-immune hypothyroidism. My wrist joint and foot pain subsided. My unprovoked mood swings and anger subsided. I no longer has mood-related PMS symptoms.
Very thankful for this medication! It has changed my life and made me a much nicer person to be around.

Thanks to Shirley Grose, a thyroid patient, for sharing with us the following powerful letter she wrote to her doctor, after he insisted on prescribing Synthroid (a brand name synthetic levothyroxine sodium/T4 thyroid hormone replacement drug) instead of the Armour Thyroid (a brand name naturally derived T4/T3 drug) she'd been taking. As a person who would not expect to have any side effects I felt a buzzed head the first day on this one. Second day I felt slightly queasy at the end of the day and from each day after I had a gassy stomach.It got to the point where I knew it was not for me. Would not recommend this pill at all and am surprised that the Drs office acted like there would be no side effects.Drs office was unhelpful-would not even change brands when I asked.I was thinking maybe the stomach upset happened from taking it on the empty stomach which you are supposed to do.
LEVOTHROID (LEVOTHYROXINE SODIUM): Levothyroxine is used to treat an underactive thyroid (hypothyroidism). It replaces or provides more thyroid hormone, which is normally produced by the thyroid gland. Low thyroid hormone levels can occur naturally or when the thyroid gland is injured by radiation/medications or removed by surgery. Having enough thyroid hormone is important for maintaining normal mental and physical activity. In children, having enough thyroid hormone is important for normal mental and physical development. This medication is also used to treat other types of thyroid disorders (such as certain types of goiters, thyroid cancer). Nausea and fatigue the first day (with the double dose), lingering nausea and severe diarrhea remaining days. However, this happens to me with any antibiotics, and this is one of the few I'm not allergic to.
Even thought the medicine did control my BP, the side effects made this drug unacceptable.

I just started taking lamictal along with my prozac 20mg. I have been on and off SSRI's for years for depression and anxiety and recently Dx bipolar 2. I am already feeling my depression lifting and my old self returning. I am hopeful that I continue to feel good on lamictal. So far I am extremely satisfied! I am very fearful of trying new medication but I am so glad I did!!!
No side effects.Doesn'ttaste great but if you follow directions just swish and don't drink for a while it is fine. It works and gums felt better after second day
Arm sore for 3 days after shot .With 2 hours of injection I began to feel achy and tired.. Like I was getting sick. General fatigue and light headache for 3 days. I felt cold and with the latest COVID lockdown I've been in bed for 3 days. Appetite gas been ferocious but I always eat more when I'm sick .
I had my gyno appointment today and for insurance reasons she is trying to get me onto Alesse. I adore my Ortho-Novum so much I am scared to switch. I am going to fight to stay on my ortho. My best advice, shop around. Follow your gut. I have read some great things about Alesse but for myself, I have a bad feeling about it. Be aware of possible health risks before getting on BC. Your health is your most important asset. Take care of yourselves, ladies! :)
