AMRIX (CYCLOBENZAPRINE HYDROCHLORIDE): Cyclobenzaprine is used short-term to treat muscle spasms. It is usually used along with rest and physical therapy. It works by helping to relax the muscles. This medication is not recommended for use in older adults because they may be at greater risk for side effects while using this drug. Ask the doctor or pharmacist for details. My son has been on singulair since he as one. He is now 3. I have spent the last two years trying to figure out why his behavior is the way it is. He has been kicked out of 2 different day cares for hitting other children, throwing toys, throwing chairs, knocking over tables etc. He can go from being perfectly fine to raging like this is 2 seconds. I have had him evaluated and everyone says it's just his age he will grow out of it. In the mean time, he was recently kicked out of another day care. After reading the Singulair website, I asked his pediatrician if this could be the issue, she said no. Yesterday I found this site and after reading all the other comments from parents with similar problems, I have stopped the Singulair. I have no idea how long it will take to get out of his system. I heard up to 6 weeks. Hopefully I wil see a change soon.
I will never take this drug again. I have been off of it now for 2 days and still am exhausted from what I went through.
Confusion, Fatigue, Headaches, Foggy thinking, "Tunnel Vision" sensation, Nausea
It's hard to say for sure, but if any, nothing major since my health and comfort are good.
So far a lot of mood swings and breast tenderness. There's been a little weight gain (5 pounds or so) but I'm not going to say with certainty that it's related.
Lethargic, depressed, shaky, chest pain, vision problems, sleeplessness. Did little to lower the blood pressure.
Fractured hip, herniated disks,
all and all thou its good the side effects are not so bad
