Dizziness, vertigo. After about two months of taking Astelin, anytime I sat up right away from a lying down position, or laying down looking up and moved my head to the right, the room seemed like it was spinning. Wasn't sure what caused it until I read some comments on this site. Stopped taking Astelin, and it took about three to four weeks for the vertigo symptoms to go away.

had calming effect, helped restless legs. but made me hallucinate, and felt like a very low dose of LSD.great for insomnia!, also.after 6-7 months stopped working- and i was switched to pregabalin.

First time ever in life could breath clearly, wonderful for asthma. After 16 years on it learned something that made me seriously consider experimenting going off. Three days out and horrible crippling arthritic type pain and other symptoms leaving me. So sad...didnt know all these years thats why I FELT so old. Am looking into alternative cuz like others here...am now overly reactive all the time.

Works well for my problem of tingling/burning of feet and legs.

I am so surprised of all the negative feed back on Paxil. I was so disappointed when I had to stop taking this due to the night sweats and nightmares. It made me such a happier person, better mother, and a wonderful wife. The real me was finally revealed. I have tried Welbutrin, Celexa, Prozac, Effexor, and a mood stabilizer. Nothing works the way Paxil did and I would get so frustrated I would GIVE up. Now I am back at square one about to go through another trial and error of anti depressants. I heard Lexapro and Zoloft are very comparable to Paxil so I'm keeping my fingers crossed that SOMETHING will work like Paxil minus the rare side effects!!!!

Mood Swings, depression, weight gain, my acne went from bad to worse, huge blood clots during my period, crying unexpectedly, pain during my period

Jittery, sharp gas pains, abdominal pain within 4 hours of taking, extreme fatigue feeling in chest area, heavy heartbeat and/or increased feel of blood pressure (pounding sensation).

FIRST MONTH TAKING THIS MEDICINE ONE DAY AFTERWARD, I HAD A BAD FLU LIKE SYMPTOMS SUCH AS CHILLS, BODY ACHES, NAUSEA, AND HORRIBLE STOMACH PROBLEM. DIARRHEA FOR OVER 10 DAYS. I THOUGHT I HAD A BAD FLU AND SOME HOW DID NOT FIND CONNECTION WITH THIS MEDICINE SO ONE MONTH AFTER I TOOK IT AGAIN FOR THE 2ND TIME. I'M GETTING THE SAME SYMPTOMS AS LAST MONTH AND DEFINITELY I KNOW ITS THE ACTONEL. I'M HAVING A PAINFUL BODY ACHES WITH NAUSEA AND FEVER. ITS A DAY TWO AND IM HAVING A BAD DIARRHEA AGAIN. I WILL NEVER EVER TAKE THIS MEDICINE AGAIN!!

I loved the way this helped me sleep, but read about side effects. Memory problems and tintinitis are two problems I have noticed that may be caused by this drug.

Okay, like, this really worked well in the beginning. I felt high and giddy, but, hey, it improved my mood, so that was good, right? Not so with the swelling and stiffness of my hands, ankles, feet. No way. But it did help with my mood, alot!
