I've been on this medication I think about 8 years, following 10 years of Prozac and many years of tricylcics and alcohol before that. I began with (I think) 300 mg, increased to 375 about 3 years ago.I have taken such a lot of anti-depressants and they all have some kind of side-effect. I tend to think that almost anything is better than the depression but I guess there are limits.Reading these posts has made me question my acceptance of it. OMG ALOT OF RESTLESSNESS, FEEL THE ANXIETY SO BAD LIKE I FEEL LIKE JUMPING UP N DOWN ALL THE TIME. MY LEGS CANT GET COMFORTABLE. I USUALLY TAKE MY 80 MG. PILL AT NIGHT AROUND 9:30 AM, HAVE TAKEN IT AT 10:30PM AND 11:30PM...ALL TIMES HAVE DONE THE SAME TO ME NO MATTER HOW EARLY I TAKE IT. I LOSE MY HEARING, THIS HASNT BEEN DOCUMENTED IN ANY CASES. Had complained to my doctor about my symptoms, not thinking Restasis would be a cause. With a change in my insurance, Restasis was going to be too expensive. I decided to try to go without it and see how my eyes felt. Much to my surprise all of my symptoms disappeared within a week! I'm worried now that there may be long term effects.

Well, i was on Sertralin 50mg for 3 years and began to feel lack of energy, tiredness, poor libido (wouldn't get close to husband bc i was so tired for sex), and now developed food compulsion. I'm not fat (5'4", 120 lb) but i always cared a lot about my weight, and now i suffer for not doing gym (no energy for gym nor a good walk). These first 3 pills gave me hope:i feel more connected to the world and reality and have little increased energy. No decresead appetite so far. No big binges though. At this point, so far so good.
My blood pressure went from 110/70 to 155-160/85-90 and it also damaged my liver by increasing the liver enzymes to very abnormal numbers. It is horrible medicine and is a poison. I am very athletic person who runs 3 miles every day, eat 5 fruits/vegetables, salmon, lean chicken every day. After discontinuing for last two weeks, BP is still very high.
