The day after the 1st day of a 2 day dose, I developed a small case of hives that I thought was a food allergy. However, within hours, I intensely broke out into hives, and my face began to swell. I did not take the Diflucan on the second (and the last day of the prescription) because I was taking Benedryl, still unaware of the cause of my hives, but not wanting to mix drugs. I woke up to angioedema, to the point where I could hardly see, my eyes and lips were horribly inflamed and the hives rash was unlike the kinds I get from food allergies. The hives were on my legs, torso, arms, knees, back, and feet. My hands and feet felt swollen (although they looked normal) and I could have sworn that there were hives on my palms and the bottoms of my feet (even though I couldn't clearly see anything). Since the hives were severe, I refrained from hot baths, applied ointment, drank water, and tried to ease the symptoms with Benedryl. The only time I felt good was when I was asleep, but the symptoms would wake me up at times and I struggled to get rid of the burning sensation. After the 4th day, the sweeling in my face subsided, but the hives became aggressive, now covering my forehead, ears, scalp, neck, shoulders, torso, underarms, trunk, buttocks, legs, knees, and the tops of my feet. The rash was also much larger and more painful than the hives I'm used to experiencing. It was then that I realized it wasn't a food allergy (which typically lasts a few hours up to a day

With the pills themselves, I had to leave school because I was flushed, dizzy, and I couldn't focus. My migraine was gone, but the symptoms from the medication were worse than the migraine itself. The nasal injection left a disgusting taste in the back of my throat that wouldn't go away no matter what I ate or drank. After brushing my teeth and mouth 6 time, I was more focused on the dizziness and nausea rather than the taste. I had to stay home from school and work the following day because I would get dizzy after standing up for 5 minutes. I'd have to lay down for 10 minutes and then I could be on my feet for 5 more minutes.

I took Actonel weekly for 2 months, had no problems..waited a couple of weeks and then took the 150mg monthly..first day I was fine, next day I was short of breath and totally fatigued, that lasted a couple of days..next I felt like everything was falling out of me...a couple of days after that I felt like I was getting a UTI, such urgency and pressure..but it was bladder spasms.. along with this I had severe pressure in my eyes...that lasted 2 weeks. It has been a month now since I took it and won't take it again. But now I am apprehensive about going back on the weekly, will that build up in my system?

I switched to this pill because it was cheaper but I developed a horrible chronic cough and dry throat after the first day. I took this pill for 5 days and then my doctor put me back on Micardis HCT which is amazing it keeps my blood pressure down and keeps my weight down.

I took this medication in the past and it was always with other medications. This time tried it while not on anything other than a Statin-I lasted 4 daysSide effects were feeling like an inferno on the inside that never subsided- a constant hot flashMade my tremor worse, made my anxiety so much worseI felt jittery like I had 100 cups of coffee which I don't drinkDiarrheaDidn't decrease pain levels where I noticed- I would rather have the pain than side effects

I became more and more depressed. My anxiety was thru the roof! I had started taking this after Zantac was taken off the market. I will warn anyone of these side effects. I can't believe "studies" or reports are as few as the manufacturer states.

In one word "godsend." I have suffered from a chronic cough and on several occassions have either cracked my ribs or severly bruised them. I often cough so hard and long that I faint. This is the only thing that stops my cough. I don't take it everyday due to it being extended release.

This drug works, but has some significant and annoying side effects.

dry throat, sore throat, gasping for breath in the middle of the night

PTSD, GAD, SAD, slight depression
