Oruvail (ketoprofen) Side Effects, Uses Dosages

Side Effects for Oruvail (ketoprofen)

It takes about two weeks for it to kick in to full strength but after that it worked like a charm. Now that there is a generic form of it I can officially have my insurance pay for the pills. It works great as a once a day pain preventer.

Oruvail Linked to Stevens Johnson Syndrome

ORUVAIL (KETOPROFEN): Ketoprofen is used to relieve pain from various conditions. It also reduces pain, swelling, and joint stiffness from arthritis. Since the sustained-action form does not work right away, it is best used to treat ongoing conditions (such as arthritis). Other drugs or forms should be used when quick relief is needed (such as of toothache, headache, or menstrual pain). This medication is a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID). It works by blocking your body's production of certain natural substances that cause inflammation. This effect helps to decrease swelling, pain, or fever. If you are treating a chronic condition such as arthritis, ask your doctor about non-drug treatments and/or using other medications to treat your pain. See also Warning section. Diflucan definitely helped get the fungus out of my lung. Was diagnosed with pneumonia 2 times over the course of 2 years before it was found that fungus has been growing in there, so the infection was pretty severe. After a month, I had no more pain. Wheezing went away after 2 months. I had no side effects for the first 3 months. During the 4th month, side effects got really bad to the point where I had to wait until I had a few hours after taking it where I could relax under a fan.

Within 3 days the pain from the fibromyalgia was almost totally gone.

occasional insomnia, occasional irritability, increased motivation, increased attention span

I had a stroke when I was 21 and I am noticing some side effects that are making me nervous. I feel wonderful mood and depression wise but I have twitching of the face (moderate) and twitching of the hands (moderate to severe). I know I have some small risks for seratonin syndrome but I have discussed this with my psychiatrist and he seems to be unconcerned. I have also had 2 urinary tract infections and I haven't had one in years up until now. I really don't care too much about the UTI's but the twitching is becoming really bothersome since I am an administrative assistant and a Realtor. Basically, I am on the computer all day long and I am twitching so I am clicking the mouse button when I don't mean to and hitting keys when I don't mean to. It is very frustrating. This took me 5 minutes to type so it is really slowing me down and I love to read but I am unable to concentrate well.

SEVERE DEPRESSION, anxiety, insomnia, suicidal thoughts.

Slight nausea, took at night, didn't last long. THE COST IS OUTRAGEOUS, DISGUSTING AND SHOULD BE ILLEGAL. Discontinued use because insurance wouldn't cover it.

none to complain of except Great Goodness...

High bloodpressure, fast heart rate

I have been on Effexor XR for 11 months. I am currently taking 300mg. Every time the does increased, for 1-4 days I had the shakes, trembeling, sudden crying, facial ticks, extreme edginess, anger, weird concentration, heart/chest pains. Then they would go and I'd feel good. I am wondering if the current dose is a little high for me because I find I have become really nonchalant and carefree socially - unlike I've ever been. My movement is a little "stupid" at times, much more expressive, a little overly-relaxed, and I say what is on my mind more often without thinking (unlike before). At times, its like feeling drunk, without being drunk, and people don't get my sudden "out-there", openness.
