Side Effects for Orudis (ketoprofen)

ORUDIS (KETOPROFEN): Ketoprofen is used to relieve pain from various conditions. It also reduces pain, swelling, and joint stiffness from arthritis. Since the sustained-action form does not work right away, it is best used to treat ongoing conditions (such as arthritis). Other drugs or forms should be used when quick relief is needed (such as of toothache, headache, or menstrual pain). This medication is a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID). It works by blocking your body's production of certain natural substances that cause inflammation. This effect helps to decrease swelling, pain, or fever. If you are treating a chronic condition such as arthritis, ask your doctor about non-drug treatments and/or using other medications to treat your pain. See also Warning section. don't take it because it will make you feel worse than you already do. believe me. it solved my problems but the side effects are horrible and uncopable

I had taken this drug twice before (for UTI) without problems, but this time I had the lot - gastric pain, frequent loose stools, skin rash and irritation and red skin eruptions. I began to fear an episode of Crohn's though I have been free of symptoms for 12 years. However, on completing the course of treatment, the diarrhea and stomach pain cleared up. and only the skin problems remain.

high blood, pain in legs, then DVT, blood clot in lungs.

This stuff is awful. I threw out the bottle and took her to a homeopath for a natural allergy clearing. It worked great!! Avoid any steroid spray. Doctor said there would be no side effects what a crock.

I'm still new on the drug (about 3 weeks roughly). It was sort of like an appetite suppressant for a while. And now for some reason, I always feel like I'm on the verge of an orgasm (physically). It's starting to become very agitating while doing every day normal activities. I haven't seen anyone else have this side effect, and it's irritating. I'm still on the fence about the drug and have a Dr's apt on Wed, I'm considering asking him to switch. I'm also taking Trazadone at night to help me sleep. I love the Trazadone.

severe drug hangover the entire next day; took an additional day to wear off completely.
