ZOMIG (ZOLMITRIPTAN): Zolmitriptan is used to treat migraines. It helps to relieve headache, pain, and other migraine symptoms (including nausea, vomiting, sensitivity to light/sound). Prompt treatment helps you return to your normal routine and may decrease your need for other pain medications. Zolmitriptan belongs to a class of drugs known as triptans. It affects a certain natural substance (serotonin) that causes narrowing of blood vessels in the brain. It may also relieve pain by affecting certain nerves in the brain. (this is a continuation of the post below)It took me 6 months to get over the worst of the side effects, and a full year to feel like I was before I took Macrobid. I ate well including antioxidant rich foods, protein, and vitamin supplements. I exercised moderately throughtout the reaction (in the mornings when I had energy) which I think helped a lot.

Terrible rash in my genital area, dizziness, nausea, weakness.As soon as I started to take this antibiotic I had terrible rash in my genital area and I'm on an anti-viral for that and it is not going away. I'm very depressed since I started to take it and extremely tired, I can barely get out of the bed to go to work and I'm in bed all other times.
Vaccine was given a week ago. A golf ball sized swollen knot developed & painful arm at injection site. Feel tingly and burning all over. Scratchy throat, runny nose & sinus pressure and aching muscles. My allergy doctor prescribed a steroid cream for the swelling and Prednisone if needed.

works better then any thing i have tried for my headaches a little concerned about dependancy but have been doing great with my headaches have been taknig about a year on and off.
Nausea, foggy head, vivid dreams, headache, drymouth, TIRED, couldn't sleep through night.
After second swish and swallow, my body felt like it was shutting down, felt faint, could not catch my breath. Did not sleep all night. Next day I thought I would just swish it in my mouth and spit it out. Reaction started again within 10 minutes. Hoping drinking lots of water gets it out of my system faster. Still feeling like I can not breathe. Pharmacy advised to stop taking it.
