I experienced horrible side effects. Thought I would die. Arms, legs, hands and whole body ached, thought it was fibromyalgia. Had tremors in one hand. Blurry vision, brain fog real bad, headaches, numbness in face, neck, and head. Only God knows about the damage it caused on the inside of the body........ Lost 10 pounds, stomach upset and runs. Too much to list here, will NEVER TAKE AGAIN!

So, as I was born without a thyroid, I've been taking synthroid my whole life, and after reading these comments, I'm beginning to realize the reason I feel so depressed/crazy/"foggy" is because of this drug. I always thought, maybe it's just me, or it's normal to feel this way, because I've always felt it. Gosh, I am so relieved to know that it's the drug! maybe I should try another drug....
Effexor saved my life! I've been chronically depressed since early childhood, so I had no personal frame of reference about how other people experience life. I had been on Zoloft and Prozac a long time ago with no effect, I learned how things I had accepted as immutable are actually optional. I would recommend Effexor if you haven't had luck with other antidepressants.

This was the first of many drugs I've tried for Bipolar. It was the only one that I have been able to tolerate and feel like myself. I really wish I would have been able to continue taking it.
I have been off Levaquin almost 3 years and suffered 90 symptoms. I am now left with extreme fatigue, blurred vision, decreased cognitive abilities, muscle cramps/tightness, hip pain and breathing abnormalities. I can't believe how this medicine has taken away 3 good years of my life. One day the pharmaceutical companies will have to pay for what they have done to so many of us. We're guinea pigs!!!!!
Just an update- made it to day 3 then had to stop taking it. i felt like my brain was turning to mush. this stuff cannot be good for you. my doc isn't in for a couple days so i haven't talked to her about my horrible reaction yet. i wish somebody would've warned me this could happen.
