helped my negative feelings towards my life and baby. i love my baby more than ever, im not ignoring her or feel hateful towards her. still am depressed about my life and where its going. lost 10lbs the 1st week on it. a little more desire to keep up with chores.
After 36 hours on the drug, I began experiencing Atrial Fibrillation. I also experienced a panic attack. The first panic attack that I had since 2006.
I've had migraines for 15 years, since I was 10 years old. I took over the counter pain relievers so much that I became immune to them. 3 years ago I was introduced to Imitrex, in the meantime tried so many other migraine meds, including preventative meds, and imitrex is my best reliever. I just take it the minute I feel a migraine starting, deal with the side effects of imitrex, and 45 mins later I'm human again. Ideally I like to lay down for those 45 mins and its much easier. But with my busy lifestyle I've learned to just deal with it. Hopefully one day something knew will come out with no side effects, but until then, I'm sticking with imitrex.
Its such a tremendous help, I try not to take it more than 2-3 times a week (5 mg)

I've been in pain management since age 10. I have mixed connective tissue disease. At age 10 I was prescribed Demerol and Dilaudid. Compared to Oxycodone MS Contin will make you have half of the energy and half of the pain relief however you'll sleep better. In fact you may be so tired you wonder why you even bother taking the medication as pain management goal is to give you some form of your life back. I guess minor pain relief is better than none but I'd really like to be able to get out of bed once in awhile. I hope it works for others in chronic pain.
