CYKLOKAPRON (TRANEXAMIC ACID): This medication is used to treat heavy bleeding during your menstrual period. Tranexamic acid works by slowing the breakdown of blood clots, which helps to prevent prolonged bleeding. It belongs to a class of drugs known as antifibrinolytics. Tranexamic acid is not a hormone. It does not treat other menstrual or pre-menstrual symptoms. It does not stop your period. It is not a form of birth control and does not protect against sexually transmitted diseases. To stop smoking after 52 years
I started on Celexa then I switched to XL because my GP said it would help me concentrate better. It did no such thing but made me feel spacey instead. It had helped me a bit though. I had better moods in comparison to not taking it. I missed a couple of days in the beginning which made me pretty much feel crazy and my mood can turn 180 degrees in a matter of seconds. Overall, XL helped me to get out of bed but depression isn't entirely gone.
Some constipation if I don't take collace with it. After being on it for 2 years, I am getting headaches. Not sure if it is the Buprenorhine or something else. Tiredness.
If anyone knows where this may be ordered (inexpensive, of course) please email me and let me know...This is the only med that works for me, but hard to get a prescription for...Thank you for any info! Becky
Less chest pain, blood pressure better BUT dry choking cough especially in morning lasting at least 1/2hour. A couple of times I couldn't breathe, my oesophagus completely closed so I took 2 types of antihistamine which helped. Also the last time I woke up I coughed until I was spitting up blood. I have also recently started on Cpap machine with humidifier. I feel ill and tired and very weak. I would not recommend this to anyone. The benefits do not outweigh the side effects.

This medicine should not be prescribed to children!!
