Facial flushing. Was rather uncomfortable. Regularly spraying myself in the face with a spray-bottle full of water whenever it got to be too much seemed to counter-act this sufficiently.

I was on 250 mg daily, after my mother took the stuff and had a positive experience. This seriously worked. In conjunction with some prescription medication changes and some minor life-style and dietary adjustments, my total cholesterol went down from over 200 down to 116. My mid-30s HDL stayed about the same, although now it is up to 43. I am currently down to 120 mg of niacin a day (100 mg as part of a B-complex multivitamin and 20 mg from a daily Centrum), and my cholesterol is still good. I highly recommend you give niacin a try. It's cheap, effective, and over the counter, and while the flushing to the face is uncomfortable it's not unbearable. I do recommend you take it with food though.

NICOLAR (NIACIN): Niacin is used with a proper diet and exercise program to help lower "bad" cholesterol and fats (LDL, triglycerides) and raise "good" cholesterol (HDL) in the blood. It is generally used after non-drug treatments have not been fully successful at lowering cholesterol. Niacin is also known as vitamin B-3 (nicotinic acid), one of the B-complex vitamins. It may be used with or without other medications. Lowering "bad" cholesterol/triglycerides and raising "good" cholesterol helps prevent strokes and heart attacks. Lowering fats may also help reduce the risk of pancreas problems (pancreatitis) in people at risk. In addition to eating a proper diet (such as a low-cholesterol/low-fat diet), other lifestyle changes that may help this medication work better include exercising, losing weight if overweight, and stopping smoking. Consult your doctor for more details. (Sources: U.S. Centers for Medicare Services, FDA)

I've been on Seasonale for about 2 months now and the only side effect that I have noticed is that I discharge more frequently to the point that I have to wear panty liners. (I am wondering if anyone else has had this happen to them?) I've also noticed more breakouts than normal but I think that's just from switching from an Ortho BC to this one. Other than that, I am pretty satisfied thus far.

9 y.o. daughter prescribed susp. 200/5ml 1tsp day 1 and 1/2 tsp remaining 4 days. Day 1 experienced extreme stomach cramping - started w/in 5 mins of dose lasting approx 1 hr. slight diarreah shortly after. Day 3 return of stomach cramps and are now accompanied by ear ringing, chest pain, muscle cramps, lightheaded which started on day 4 dose and persisting currently even though last dose was taken 4 days ago (Friday- today is Tuesday)

I have no feelings for anything or anyone. No more interest in my future. Feels like nothing else to live for, if never been suicide before invega was injected into my body. I'm fine without the injection and they keep suggesting I take it. I have a twitching pupple, it twitches all day long with 20 second breaks. I suddenly cry for no reason at times. When I'm not on the injection I'm always in a good mood. I have no way to produce adrenaline, serotonin or dopamine anymore it seems after taking this so I'm always in a depressed mood.

Saved my life. Had nerve pain down my back, accompanied by huge anxiety attacks and insomnia for years. I put up with the side effects simply because nothing short of benzodiazapines would help, and they are what caused alot of this to begin with.

Only brittle nails and increase in breast size.I've been taking Premarin 1.25mg since the operation and I did gain 10 lbs which I have kept. For the last three years I started with leg cramps (really bad), charlie horses on my toes, my legs to the point where I wake up (have always been a deep sleeper), also charlie horses on my hips and my back to the point where I could not straighten up. This cleared when I started taking Potassium/Magnesium/Zinc.But now, when I exercise 4-5 days a week I feel achie all over. A low-feeling ache al over that will not go away.

This drug worked perfectly for me. I had a new job and I would wake up at night thinking about it. If I had trouble falling asleep at night I would take .5 mg at bed time. Sometimes I could fall asleep fine without taking anything but would wake up at 3:00 AM thinking about my job. When that happened, I would take .25 mg and would usually fall back to sleep within 20-30 minutes and wake up at my regular time feeling refreshed. No residual effects.I never got dependent on it as I almost never needed it on the weekends and after about 2 months I was comfortable with the new job and had no trouble sleeping even without the drug.I kept the unused portion of the prescription for occasional use. Highly recommended.

Now on my 4th day omgosh im in so much pain in my lower back and all of both of my legs..Ive had a D&C before and ectopic pregnancy and the back pain you feel, well thats what i feel now.. I dont know what to do. Im emailing my doctor tomorrow

Headaches over the right brow every day all day its more annoying than painful. irritability, moodiness and weight loss

This drug should be banned. I can not believe that a drug that has been linked to suicidal thoughts is being given to vulnerable people who are experiencing depression. What's even more unbelievable is the fact that there are so many vested interests in the prescribing of these drugs, the drug's manufacturer have not been prosecuted for withholding negative information from the clinical trials relating to this drugs.
