I started on the starter kit. Initially, I loved it at the 75 mg doze but with a few grains less than the way it comes. I would open it and pour out some of the grains so as to not have too strong of a dosage or to not develop tolerance quickly. It boosted my energy and I felt I didn't need to drink coffee or eat much. However, eventually I felt normal. Then, I realized I had become forgetful and had difficulty concentrating or reading dense text.

I was on Ambien for 7-8 years and it was getting to the point where I couldn't remember anything after I took it. With Lunesta, it hasn't affected my memory at all. The first few nights I was still waking up in the middle of the night, but after a few days, I'm staying asleep more. It has been working great for me.
Horrible taste in my mouth, worse in the evening, like metallic bile. Dull hearing, dizzines, sleeplessness, sensitivity to odours.
Your not going mad! 7 days on the drug and 13 days off before it started to get better. This site has been a life saver for me! Please note the withdrawal effects are awful and get very severe nearer the end when leaving your body. Feel free to email if you are having an awful time on this drug x I have put a post on previously but for some reason it didn't appear,hope this one does!
Nausea to begin with ( taking at night combats this). A K lesions due to sun exposure after 12 years ( easily treated) which may or may not be connected to azathioprine. Recurrent anemia which was thought to be down to asymptomatic underlying Crohn's however when taken off drug crohns symptoms returned full throttle without any sign of aneamia.
The first day, I had no issues. The second day, I started experiencing some diarrhea. On the third day, I experienced extreme fatigue and increased heart rate. It got so bad that I decided to discontinue the medication. I'm still trying to fully shake the fatigue three days after discontinuing usage.

I've been taking lexapro 20 mg and effexor xr 75 mg in the morning for 5 years. My depression disappeared and generally am alot happier and able to deal with life alot better. Decided to switch from effexor xr to wellbutrin because of weight gain and feeling tired all the time. Let's see how it goes. Just to let everyone know who is starting a new antidepressant or switching over to a new one. You must give it time. You might get horrible side effects for the first few weeks when starting a new drug, you may even get worse before you get better. When I first started lexapro and effexor xr for the first time years ago the first few weeks I thought the world was coming to an end, but things got much better. Be patient!
