It's a trade off, I could not live the way I was, it's an effective drug with some side effects just like any other drug, I'm willing to take those.

I'll give it a few more days until I see my doctor next week, but I'm not sure if this is worth it. Hopefully the side effects wear off.

extreme and inappropriate rage (i was scared i was gonna kill someone if they pissed me off, and i'm normally very easy going) and very vivid and disturbing dreams during first week at 20 mg. decreased appetite and sexual disfunction at higher doses of 30 or more mg. side effects went away after went back to 20 mg.

it's saved my life, so i'm willing to put up with the side effects

This is the ONLY allergy medicine I've taken that helps. Without it I am a headachy, watery eyed mess. I like the appetite suppressant side effect...it helps with the pre-summer weightloss. I have not had any of the bad side effects others are describing..no heart racing, sleeping problems, etc. Only thing I am having a problem with lately is that the 24 hour dosage seems to stop working at the 8 hour mark.

A really nasty drug - made me feel worse that I did before with pelvic pain! Had to do a major presentation and discussion yesterday, and nearly fell apart in the first 10 minutes before just about pulling myself together. It's day 4 of 7 and I'm feeling sluggish and spaced out, and my pelvic pains seem to have returned - or maybe they're abdominal pains. It's hard to tell. I would try to avoid this in future if possible.

My daughter has ADHD, we have been on other meds, concerta gives her control of herself. She says she is able to concentrate in school better and is more comfortable in social settings. It actually helps with OCD and other aggressive behaviors. To help with her sleeping she takes 3mg of meletonin and 2.5mg of clomindine to help her sleep. Works like a charms she will sleep for 8-10 hours and feels rested in the morning. Our experience is not enough sleep can effect her ADHD, no matter what meds she is on. She and we feel she is more herself when she is on it, because she can control her behavior. If zombie effect happens, we lower the does, especially from school year to summer, when she may not need to concentrate as much on task work. Our thinking is, you should always smile and laugh, if not, we need to adjust the meds, which we have done many times!

could barely function, extremely dizzy and spaced out for over an hour. I felt worse.

Metallic taste, did seem to make just about everything taste different. Stomach upset occasionally. Did put me in a better mood, gave me energy. After not being able to kick this crud I have had for the last month after being on decongestants and other antibiotics (amoxicillin and omnicef), I will take the side effects. I am about half way finished with my 10 day dosage, it is a very strong antibiotic and high dosage. But overall, I'm satisfied as long as I am feeling better and kicking this crud I have had!

No side effects. It works great I feel normal again.
