Ciprofloxacin in dextrose 5% in plastic container (ciprofloxacin) Side Effects, Uses Dosages

Side Effects for Ciprofloxacin in dextrose 5% in plastic container (ciprofloxacin)

I will be finishing my Cipro tomorrow, 2/25. I had a raging UTI from not emptying my bladder when I should. Lesson learned. I have felt stoned on this medication since day one. I felt exhausted but that also could have been from the illness itself. I do not have the infection anymore but my brain is still fuzzy. Dreams!!! Every single night, in color and extremely vivid. And they are very happy dreams. So, I sure hope this is all I get as a side effect from this med. I am a nurse and know about the side effects but haven't really gotten any from Cirpo til now. I took it over 20 years ago and this would be my second time. I know medicine is a double edged sword. You can take the med... but it will cost you in one way or another as in side effects. Any drug we take has some kind of potential side effect. It's a gamble. I felt taking the drug outweighed my hesitancy bc of the side effects. I have been lucky thus far. When my sister took it she had massive and dail

I am permanently disabled from using this drug. It is mutagenic (literally-look it up) and has destroyed my liver, kidneys, joints,... Please do not take it unless you are dying from anthrax.

wrist started hurting, light headiness, bad taste in mouth

brief light flickering in my eyes

It greatly relieved the UTI so far but I will never take it again.

CIPROFLOXACIN IN DEXTROSE 5% IN PLASTIC CONTAINER (CIPROFLOXACIN): This medication is used to treat a variety of bacterial infections. Ciprofloxacin belongs to a class of drugs called quinolone antibiotics. It works by stopping the growth of bacteria. This antibiotic treats only bacterial infections. It will not work for virus infections (such as common cold, flu). Using any antibiotic when it is not needed can cause it to not work for future infections. I originally started on prilosec when it first was introduced in the early 90's. When it was offered as an OTC med my doc switched me to Nexium. Have had problems for years with gerd, acid reflux, hietal hernia.

TIREDNESS. INTENSE YEAST INFECTION

Doctors in India have no clue about the potency of the drugs, their reactions, proper doses, etc.

I hate this class of drugs! It ruined 15 years of my life.

Minimum side effects. Sometimes I experience chills, mouth ulcers, depression, tingling, numbness in my hands and fingers; I consider these minor side effects; with the exception of the slight depression. However, compared to briefly being prescribed Divoan and Hyzaar, THEY ARE HORRIBLE BPH meds! Diovon and Hyzaar made me feel very lethargic for almost 24 hours! The only reason I was asked to switch is because of the insurance company not wanting to cover for 2010 the co-pay. However, I fought with Medco and told them the horrible side effects that I was experiencing when prescribed Diovan and Hyzaar and it was overturned and I now am back on Atacand, 32 mg. Yes; it is very expensive compared to the other BPH meds but my life is worth it to take a medication that helps lower my BPH for quality of life.

Worked fine at 1st then got progressively worse. Symptoms cleared after I quit taking it. Am breathing better without it.

My back pain that I suffered with for years is almost completely gone. It radiated from mid-back to lower back to hips. Now it's only occasionally sore first thing in the morning but pain-free after moving around a bit.

cold feet, bloating, breast soreness, mild light head, spacing out
