ZYLET (LOTEPREDNOL ETABONATE; TOBRAMYCIN): This medication is used to treat conditions involving swelling (inflammation) of the eyes and to treat or prevent bacterial eye infections. This product contains tobramycin, an antibiotic that works by stopping the growth of bacteria. It also contains loteprednol, an anti-inflammatory corticosteroid that works by reducing swelling, redness, and itching. This medication treats/prevents only bacterial eye infections. It will not work for other types of eye infections and may worsen them (e.g., infections caused by viruses, fungi, mycobacteria). After taking 2 gms. over 48 hrs spent 15 hours vomiting with voilent stomach pains. Had to stop them immediately on docs. advice. Feeling much better today 36 hrs. since taking the last dose but now in intestines as had very light coloured stool this morning and a lot of pain in intestines.

I decided a week ago to stop taking coumadin and try natural blood thinners such as fish oil, vit E, asprin and garlic. The swelling and weight gain was a constant battle and I work out and eat healthy. I went through many panic attacks and anxiety about having another PE. I am frustrated at hearing doctors tell me the weight gain is from PTSD.
The worst part of this side-effect reaction is the blisters on my hands. I count 97 (ninety-seven), 1/8' (one eigth inch) blisters on my hands.4 days into the rash and it has stopped spreading!The rash on my body is not good but the hand blisters are worse.The only redeeming factor is the Prednisone given me by the doctor for the rash, is helping the hip pain too.Please, Please, BE CAREFUL with this medicine. THIS IS MY FIRST REACTION TO ANY PILL OR SHOT IN 61 YEARS.

Around three to four years ago I developed non-allergic vasomotor rhinitis more prevalent in my right nostril. My biggest problem was extremely uncomfortable nasal congestion when laying on my right side at night, and also in heavy humidity during hot summer days. Steroid sprays proved too harsh (drying, bleeding, etc.) for what is a very basic problem (a hyperactive right nasal turbinate not effected by allergins.) I only use two sprays in the right nostril at bedtime, after using a saline nasal rinse. Within a half hour or so, my right nasal passage stays open and clear and remains that way all night long, and through the next day. I used to also use it in the morning, but that seemed unecessary when I tried cutting back and noticed no decline in the quality of my breathing during the day. Laying on my right side is no longer uncomfortable at all, and it also seems to make my sleep deeper and fuller (some mention drowsiness as a side effect, but honestly, when I took it in the

I really, REALLY wish I had read this stuff before taking the medicine, because then I never would have. It gave me fevers of almost 102 degrees, achilles tendonitis in my right leg, and it didn't even completely clear up the UTI. I had to follow up with 3 days of Bactrim, which I should have just taken in the first place. Please do not take Cipro for anything if you can help it. You will regret it.
