Zohydro er (hydrocodone bitartrate) Side Effects, Uses Dosages

Side Effects for Zohydro er (hydrocodone bitartrate)

Ordered by pain management until I found out the outrageous costs. Also has side effects. Why would anyone pay this much money for the medication. Ask the provider they get paid to order it for you.

I have been on this type of medication so long that I do not know.....weight gain maybe?

This has been a lifesaver for me. Pain doctor and I worked for 7-8 years to find a med/combo that allows me to function (be a parent, hold down a job, etc) without turning me into a zombie AND takes care of most of the pain. Have tried every medicTion for TNA with little succes and a lot of outright failure. Insurance does not want to cover the cost of this expensive ($1k per month) med, but I appeal their decision each year and have so frar been successful. Helps that I have tried and failed on everything else. I would never try this before trying all the other meds. Not only are they less costly, but less damaging to the system. But when up against a wall...i think that all narcotics should have tamper resistance, but again, that adds to the cost.

ZOHYDRO ER (HYDROCODONE BITARTRATE): Hydrocodone is used to help relieve severe ongoing pain. Hydrocodone belongs to a class of drugs known as opioid (narcotic) analgesics. It works in the brain to change how your body feels and responds to pain. Do not use the extended-release form of hydrocodone to relieve pain that is mild or that will go away in a few days. This medication is not for occasional ("as needed") use. (Sources: U.S. Centers for Medicare Services, FDA)

Doctor and pharmacist were adamant that they had never heard of these types of side effects. But the symptoms went away immediately within the day or two after we stopped the med. It is over a year later and she's never experienced anything like that again. I have no doubt in my mind that it was as a result of flovent. I would not recommend this to anyone for use with a small child.

I would rather not sleep than deal with the day after side effects.

I switched to Cymbalta after I started feeling depressed again while on Zoloft (1 year). Cymbalta worked wonders for me for the first 10 months I took it. However, after around 11 months of use I started to experience brain zaps and migraines on a weekly basis, and especially if I delayed taking it (sleeping in had it's consequences).I didn't notice a loss in sexual sensitivity at first because I'd already been experiencing it on Zoloft. In the past 5 months I have gone from having trouble orgasming (unless it was masturbation) to not being able to orgasm unless I was masturbating. Now I'm having trouble even when I'm masturbating. This seems, in part, to be due to the fact that my penis is no longer very sensitive to stimulation. My libido in the past 2 months has dropped considerably as well. 18 is not the age to be losing it.I can atest to it's effectiveness as an anti-depressant. It still works as one for me, but the trade off in side-effects has become unbal

On the 12th day of taking Levaquin 750mg, I started getting horrible pains in my legs and ankles. I also suffered with heart racing, confusion, blurriness of the eyes, and swelling of the face.I have been off them for 2 days and still have some joint pain.

Clumpy white, cottage cheese stuff that had a fishy smell.

unexplained weight gain. jittery. tightness in chest. insomnia

After 2 days (3 pills) quick on set of flu-like symptoms- muscle ache, nausea, stomachache, kept getting worse, thought it was flu so I kept taking pills off and on for next 2 days. Over that time I experienced: headache, total fatigue (slept all day/ could not get up) SEVERE neck pain, could not hold my head up, abdominal pain, bloating, no appetite, chills, felt horrible. Took total of 6 pills after last pill again slept all day, next day much better except SEVERE neck pain - could be upright 4 hours before it felt like my muscles could not hold up my head any longer. better by evening but still had pain in one side of neck. All started on a Friday and went through a Monday.Kept thinking it was the flu. Never took this med before. Pharmacist only said take with food, might have stomach problems. I finally had the clear head to read side effects and call doc & pharmacy (no help/ stop drug/ MIGHT be a reaction - it is unusual) Did internet search and found this sight and others and realized - I am having an adverse reaction to this medicine! Might work for some but not for me.

AGITATION! acne, night sweats, headache, short term memory loss, distractibility, difficulty with words, especially names, and hallucinations

I use to think Depo was the most amazing thing! Now I am realizing that it is the reason for all of the listed symptoms. I couldn't figure out why I always had these symptoms every time my shot was due or right after I received it. It is like bring a crazy person every three months. My relationship was almost ruined by it.

I used it to help with the timing of IUI procedure, as i have to travel interstate for the procedure. Trying to develop the right amount and size of follicles and then have an Ovidrel trigger to stimulate ovulation. I am currently on my second consecutive month of clomid and hoping i have made the right decision to take it. The cramping does not feel normal or healthy.
