Yervoy (ipilimumab) Side Effects, Uses Dosages

Side Effects for Yervoy (ipilimumab)

horrible itching, but worse was neuropathic pain in both arms to the point of stopping treatment

I pursued this treatment in parallel with natural treatments revolving around massive dosages of Vitamin C (oral and intravenous) along with other supporting herbs, vitamins and nutrients.

YERVOY (IPILIMUMAB): Ipilimumab is used to treat melanoma (skin cancer), kidney cancer, and cancer of the large intestine (certain types of colorectal cancer). It works by changing the action of your own immune system, directing it to attack cancer cells. Unfortunately, other body parts may also be affected (see Warning section). Ipilimumab is a type of medication called a monoclonal antibody. (Sources: U.S. Centers for Medicare Services, FDA)

Severe muscle and nerve pain in neck, shoulders. Headache, nausea/vomiting, fatigue

My doctor didn't believe me when tried to explain what was happening even when she witnessed it in her own office. I stopped it gradually since I had started gradually. I hope these side effects go away soon and I can get my life back.

After I stopped taking Prevacid for three days, my knees are already better and I am not awaken at night with aches.

Achy all over. Bad neck and shoulder pain. Seeing chiropractor with not much relief at all. Shoulder pain and very limited movement in shoulder & arm. Pelvic bone pain on right side. Fingers and wrists now starting to ache--feels like arthritis.Thighs ache. Had back pain before, is now much worse. Knees starting to hurt...never had any knee pain before. Feet hurting. Had previous foot pain, but is much worse. Teeth hurting.

Anxiety and depression. Very dry eyes. Brittle nails.

Gave me severe pain in my stomach and upper back

I tried Strattera with no benefit and awful side-effects and switched to Concerta building up to 54mg. It did NOT help with my concentration/attention. I might have felt a little pick-me-up at 36mg. The side-effects weren't terrible but at 54mg I felt like I was racing and jittery. Dr. has now switched me to Adderall XR 10mg which is working much better for me.
