Did not help at all. IBS still bad. I was disappointed.....

I've watched my mother on these meds since I was small. When they gave them to me, I was hesitant about taking them, but at the time I figured I needed them. Now I know better and I'll never take this again.
I've experienced fatigue, forgetfulness(short term), depression, loss of motivation to do "anything"; I just don't feel and act like I used to.
Before taking this I was desperately ill. I had a temperature for 4 days at over 100 (at times) and I thought; "I am actually gong to die" as that is how a 102 temp feels. I had had no sleep. I went to the doctor and surprisingly I was able to get him to give me some codeine cough syrup, as I was coughing so violently. I even threw up at the doctor office. They gave me a antibiotic shot too in my butt (that hurt like hell) and a prescription for Z Pak. Either way I took one teaspoon of the cough medicine and went to bed, my stomach was so "on the edge" I was unable to take anything else for 15 hours. Today I am better, think I am going to make it. The biggest issue I think is that a lack of sleep cause by violent coughing can magnify all your symptoms. Once this is addressed you will get some rest and feel much better. I don't feel like I have a lot of congestion.

this is for those who have experienced the horrifying effects of abilify. abilify ruined my life for quite sometime. the worst of my symptoms came on after a month of taking it (extreme anxiety, racing thoughts, nervousness, obsessing) and then when i came off of it the withdrawals were horrifying (suicidal and homicidal ideations, profound thoughts of suicide, pacing, nervousness, almost psychosis). drug management has never had any negative side effects for me. infact medications had been quite a sense of relief for my diagnosis. abilify worked oppositely as it is supposed to for me. i warn all of you to always be of understanding about the side effects medications you are taking. if i would have educated my self on the side effects i might not have been in the horrifying mess that i was in.....and i am still dealing with the grief of the aftermath.
After countless doctor visits, mammogram, blood tests, no one knew what was wrong with me. I told everyone of them what medicine I was taking. Just happened to have a follow up appt with my Cardiologist and he said oh that's a reaction to Norvasc. Rash and breast swelling stopped as soon as I quit taking. Unfortunately I have now had three more allergic reactions to three other BP meds. Never allergic to anything in my life. Now the list is growing with no known answers. Did Norvasc do this to me? I don't know. Now allergic to Lisinipril,toprol xl, hydralazine. I have taken ALEVE for years from time to time. Took two yesterday and felt like I was going to pass out. Made me lightheaded. I have just gone thru every heart test possible and all results are normal. I need answers as to why I am now allergic to so many drugs. Afraid to take anything now.
