Very expensive, My monthly co-pay is $294.00. Great drug as the liquid gets absorbed in the mouth quickly as you swallow it. Be ready for bed when taking my night time dose of 200 MG. My morning dose is 50 MG. Blood work monthly is no big deal.

Gave up on this med and switched to valium. The valium worked perfectly.
In my experience over 30 years of taking various anti-depressants SSRI's are toxic. Doctors are always praising their glory as they say there is less side effects. But this is not true unless your happy having insomnia every night and shoving more Valium into your system in order to go to sleep and this results in having to take more and more since lower doses no longer work. If you want a crappy sex life hence contributing to additional problems in your relationships go ahead. Never again!! Yes the old tricyclics also have side effects such as dry mouth and slight weight gain but at least you sleep and your relationship is in tact. Never will I take SSR's again! 😡
My normally challenging child -- high energy, silly, rambunctious, etc., began to react with screaming at everything that he didn't like as soon as we started him on it. Yesterday, he absolutely melted down in a grocery store - screaming, growling, kicking, etc. He's never been a model for correct behavior, but he's never been an ANGRY child like this before. He will not be getting another dose.

I was diagnosed with ADD (back when it was called hyperactivity disorder) at the age of 6 1/2 and put on dexadrine. Very strange things started to happen. My preformance in school did improve, but I started having bouts of serious depression. I became suicidal at times. In the mornings after taking the dex I would feel nervous, though alert and unusually focused, but rarely if ever "High." By afternoon I would start feeling overwhelmingly sad, often without any cause. In many cases I had suicidal thoughts. When I was 9 the dose was upped from 10 to 20 mg, and the side effects became stranger. I started feeling like I was being watched all the time, and often checked closets and doors to make sure no one was there. Most of the time I knew it was absurd to think I was being watched, but I couldn't get over the feeling. i just started my second month on this pill and ive already gained 10 pounds. my periods were never long, now they last 7 days. they used to be 3-4..im not liking the weight gain at all.....
Reduced appetite - I can't eat enough at meals and am starving a few hours later. Some slur in speech, though I can't be sure it's due to the drug.

Stiffness in hands, feet, knees and neck. Fuzzy head, memory loss. Feel "old". Achy when I get up from sitting. Bone density is declining per scans to opteopenia. Same side effects but worse w/Arimidex.
Severe mood swings to the point of aggression. Some hot flashes and night sweats. Main thing was the horrible mood swings I had to go thru.
