Heart palpitations turned into PVC's and on medication for that now.
it helps and when i have a cold it really does the trick along with other medicines
It gives you really bad heartburn if you use this daily. Also headaches.
It may have some side effects but without it what would you do. I wouldn't be around.
Soreness of gums and cheeks and dry mouth
I think these are caused by the inhaler but I am not sure.
VENTOLIN HFA (ALBUTEROL SULFATE): Albuterol (also known as salbutamol) is used to prevent and treat wheezing and shortness of breath caused by breathing problems (such as asthma, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease). It is also used to prevent asthma brought on by exercise. It is a quick-relief drug. Albuterol belongs to a class of drugs known as bronchodilators. During 2nd infusion: short of breath, pulse was 145, my blood pressure was 192/110, legs tingly and numb, eyes burning, neck and jaw were tight, my jaw was chattering, feeling of nonstop adrenaline rush in chest, felt very faint/dizzy/heavy, whites of my eyes turned bright red, received benadryl and cortizone in IV, moved to ER from infusion center

Suffered a minor fractured ankle in Feb 2010. Xrays showed a prior fractured femur which my new orthopaedist says is most likely due to the long term use of Boniva/Fosamax. Stopped taking the Boniva May 2010 and will not take it again! Fracture is not healing as expected. And my new dr. reviewed my 3 bone density tests and told me that there was no need for me to have ever taken these drugs!

I've been to the Dr several times because I've been in pain and have had tons of tests done with no answer as to what was causing my issues. I took myself off metoprolol and to my surprise my symptoms are starting to go away. I have been on this med a while but it's like the formula has changed or something has happened to my body that's caused me to no longer tolerate it.
I took this a few years ago and I would never, ever recommend this sleep aid to anyone. While on this, I hallucinated that my backpack was turning into a monster and that my reflection in the mirror had changed into a demon. I also went sleep walking for the first time in my life -- a friend found me wandering the halls of my dorm in my underwear. Absolutely terrifying, and it sure didn't help me sleep.
I don't need this for contraception, and I told my doctor that. I don't even have my tubes! I only wanted to lessen my hormonal fluctuations, but this medication threw me off my rocker. I've tried Yaz and norinyl in the past with no real issues. Wish I had done more research into this one - FYI, it has one of the highest estrogen contents out there as far as pills go.
