V-CILLIN K (PENICILLIN V POTASSIUM): Penicillin is an antibiotic used to treat and prevent a wide variety of bacterial infections. It works by stopping the growth of bacteria. This antibiotic treats and prevents only bacterial infections. It will not work for virus infections (such as the common cold, flu). I originally started on the regular Glucophage and had horrible side effects of gas, bloating, and stomach pains. I went off of it for a short time and then started on the XR with only minor side effects. However, I am very disappointed b/c I read so many other reviews where people lost weight and I have not been able to lose one pound! I have been getting my period more regularly, but only recently. I also am on medication for Lupus, although my Dr. said that should not interfere.Does anyone else out there have both PCOS and Lupus??
herniated L2-L5/groin/hip pain
I take TRAZADONE to help me fall asleep. To keep from waking every hour with a hot flash, I periodically take 2.5 mg of AMBIEN. Initially, the only side effect I noticed was the vivid dreaming prior to wakening. I ascribed this to finally getting some REM sleep. After taking AMBIEN for an extended period of time to help deal with family crises, I am experiencing daily headaches which are similar to migraines but not as severe. Getting about 8-10 hours of sleep makes the headaches less likely
Flushing/redness from the tips of my toes to the whites of my eyes! Rapid heart rate, and headache within 2-4 hours of taking meds. This has become more pronounced over time, and I have stopped taking it.
None, other than a bad aftertaste that goes away after eating something
Doctor Rx - back bone density low
Doctor suggested taking 325mg Aspirin 30 minutes before taking Niaspan and eating AppleSauce with the Niaspan.
Want to take in combo with XANAX as catalyst 'accelerant' but cant find side-effects info. Rx says NO XANAX...but dont know why. Need boost since SONATA is good for about 3hr sleep for me. I am 260lb, 56 yr, male. Stressed with business.
I started having bad symptoms (flu like) with chest congestion and coughing. Would not recommend this medication at all. I feel it should be taken off of the market.
I actually didn't have too many side effects-in fact it seemed to help me within the first 12 hours -i did experience gas-big time-sometimes unable to control it-haha-i did get a mild yeast infect towards the end of treatment but not too bad-i will say def take w food ,d be prepared to be a little tired at first-i actually experienced little fatigue during my workouts and actually beat my record time for a 5 mile run!I think most of the anxiey and headaches and breathing difficulties are probably from anxiety itself from reading these posts-dont psych yourself out-but if you are really having breathing probs def consult your doc-uti is gone and I feel fine-relax peeps its cool-
