Side Effects for Triglide (fenofibrate)
Persistent abdominal pain, gas and bloating, particulary in the upper left quadrant of the abdomen.
My insurance dropped Tricor coverage, so my doctor switched me to Triglide. I was very happy with Tricor. It worked very well and I did not have any side effects. While the Triglide worked well in terms of lipid regulatio, about a month in I developed nagging pains in my abdomen. The pains varied in terms of duration and level, but got progressively worse. The pains were fairly consistent, and did not improve with other medication/treatments. After a while, I started to think I might have developed ulcerative cholitis or an abdominal tumor. I had my doctor switch me to generic fenofibrate, and after about three weeks, the pain is gone. Only downside is I have to take the generic with food, whereas Tricor and Triglide could be taken on an empty stomach. I also don't know how well the generic is working, because I have yet to get follow up blood work.
TRIGLIDE (FENOFIBRATE): Fenofibrate is used along with a proper diet to help lower "bad" cholesterol and fats (such as LDL, triglycerides) and raise "good" cholesterol (HDL) in the blood. It works by increasing the natural substance (enzyme) that breaks down fats in the blood. Fenofibrate belongs to a group of drugs known as "fibrates." Lowering triglycerides in people with very high triglyceride blood levels may decrease the risk of pancreas disease (pancreatitis). However, fenofibrate might not lower your risk of a heart attack or stroke. Talk to your doctor about the risks and benefits of fenofibrate. In addition to eating a proper diet (such as a low-cholesterol/low-fat diet), other lifestyle changes that may help this medication work better include exercising, losing weight if overweight, and stopping smoking. One dose in the ER followed by 4 doses at home (1 a day) developed extremely bad blurred vision in right eye. Unable to see out of that eye. Changed to another medication to finish. Pneumonia did go away but 1 week later I have increasing bad left calf cramps. I will never take this again.

Even with probiotics I experienced horrible diarrhea and nausea. But the worst was extreme anxiety.I am happy to have completed the dosage. This is a dangerous condition, so need strong meds to clear it up.
If I had known about this site and read it - it would have SAVED MY LIFE. DO YOUR OWN RESEARCH - DO NOT TAKE ANY SSRI'S - especially this PAXIL POISON. MD's should NOT be allowed to dispense this toxic garbage - it is a crime. Doctors know JACK - about what drugs actually do - they learn their spiel from the Barbie & Ken drug reps who bring their office fancy lunches and nice pens and jokes. I have watched this myself. All I needed was good cognitive therapy but doctors don't push that - they push drugs. Because they make money from that and get free trips and gifts. NO ONE knows what these drugs actually do to your IMMUNE SYSTEM and the long term damage. Most serotonin is in your GUT. Taking Paxil is one of the biggest mistakes of my life. It began the snowball rolling downhill, other illnesses came from it and now I am in decline. NEVER TRUST DOCTORS - DO YOUR OWN HOMEWORK FIRST. There are nearly always SAFE, effective, natural alternatives - to these prescription poisons - that have been around for centuries or more. PAXIL IS POISON

Did Work for me, No Panic Attacks or Obsessive thinking in years. But there are definite side effects, worth it though compared to the pain of an acute anxiety attack. Im very sleepy, need 10 to 11 hours before feel refreshed. No recall of dreams and not alot of energy during the day.
I take the injections. Best thing I have ever taken for migraines. Works in under 30 mins. This is a miracle drug, have been using it for about 5 years now.
This is a horrible drug and one I wish I had never taken. I had an immediate severe reaction following my first dose and I suddenly felt like I was possessed. I started doing things completely out of character for me and I was unable to stop myself. It felt like I was not in control. I also began to hallucinate for the first and only time in my life and experienced unwanted racing thoughts. It became impossible to sleep and I developed REM sleep disorder. I couldn’t sit still and had to keep moving. I screamed uncontrollably and my mouth and tongue wouldn’t stop moving. All of my muscles spasmed and I had a pins and needles sensation all throughout. It all terrified me so much I quit cold turkey after taking it three weeks. If I were anyone, I’d do myself a favor and never take Abilify.
