TRIAMCINOLONE ACETONIDE IN ABSORBASE (TRIAMCINOLONE ACETONIDE): This medication is used in a variety of conditions such as allergic disorders, arthritis, blood diseases, breathing problems, certain cancers, eye diseases, intestinal disorders, collagen and skin diseases. Talk to your doctor about the risks and benefits of triamcinolone, especially if it is to be injected near your spine (epidural). Rare but serious side effects may occur with epidural use. Triamcinolone acetonide is known as a corticosteroid hormone (glucocorticoid). It works by decreasing your body's immune response to these diseases and reduces symptoms such as swelling. It does seem to dispel some of the itchiness that comes with herpes, which is really the only bothersome thing I have with it, other than the very small bumps that are fortunately not on my genitals but around my anus.. (I guess that's fortunately)

My anxiety has decrease since I started taking this. Use to take 15mg daily and 45mg at night. Now I only take it (25mg)when needed or when my other sleeping meds (rivotril & desyrel) aren't enough to help me sleep.

first two days heavy weakness, some blurred vision and head ache not sure if its from little sleep or the med.

I have Interstitial Cystitis and have very resistant chronic infections so was given 30 day course of Macrobid. Already felt sick when I started Macrobid so hard to judge side effects. 4 days after starting Macrobid diagnosed with pneumonia (chronic problem -- have some immune problems not understood yet) and had to take Avelox for this. Felt extremely nauseous but can't blame Macrobid for this. Stopped taking it for a few days (didn't tell doctor) because I just couldn't tolerate two drugs at once. Went back to Macrobid later and finished course of medicine. It made me nauseous and feel like I had the flu, but it worked well. It knocked out the bladder infection completely.

This medication is dangerous and should be taken off the market.

Some slight lightheadedness if I get up too fast. Nothing I can't live with.

Nausea, loss of appetite had to force myself to eat as drug has to be taken with food. Dizziness, feelings of loss of balance, total lethargy, horrid taste in mouth, diarrhoea; completed 5 day course, but in all felt really ill and will request alternative in future.

A very close friend suffered from insomnia, terrible pains in legs, feet, shoulders, hands. He also felt numbness and weakness. He lost his taste, had difficulties to swallow, had ringing noise in his ears, was irritated, lost his brilliant thinking etc. etc. He passed away after terrible years in 2007.

Had debilitating panic attacks for more than 25 years before starting zoloft (100 mg.). I have now been panic free for years thanks to this miracle drug.

My 8 month old son has been taking Zyrtec for about 3 weeks now as he was diaganosed with several food allergies as well as grass and dust. This was about the time he quit sleeping through the night. He has been waking up screaming, as if having a bad dream. This happens about 5 times a night. His cough, runny nose and sneezing have not gone away. After reading comments on this site, we are taking him off of it immediately. I'm convinced he will go back to sleeping better off of the drug.
