Trelegy ellipta (fluticasone furoate; umeclidinium bromide; vilanterol trifenatate) Side Effects, Uses Dosages

Side Effects for Trelegy ellipta (fluticasone furoate; umeclidinium bromide; vilanterol trifenatate)

It's a steroid so my appetite is increased. I just ignore the 'call to eat'. I'm also on a betablocker (Metoprolol for slight hypertension) and I think it's affecting the efficacy of the Metoprolol. ?

Will have to have the MDs advise next visit/s about possible adverse interaction with my BP med. I was on supplemental O2 24/7 to keep my O2 SATs from being in the 80s. Since Trelegy, I've been completely off the O2 and can maintain SATs in the mid to high 90s, sometimes even 100. It feels like a miracle drug to me, so I'm hoping they can adjust something if my BP is being affected by the Trelegy.

Hoarse, fast heart beat, worse shortness of breath after inhalation.

I took this after many years on Breo, seemed to work better for a while but the last 6 months it is effecting my voice and heart rate and I feel shortness of breath immediately after inhalation. Back on Breo and doing better. I have undetermined multiple lung nodules. I AM NOT a smoker.

Affected voice, dry mouth, ruined taste of food, made my AFib worse.

Weird dreams...Thats it so far!!

I haven't been taking 4 to 5 naps a day. I'm more alert and hungry. I can have a meal without going to lie down and rest. I'm not out of breath with a simple walk. Loving this so far!

Haven't been able to afford it it's cost between 500 to 700 dollars that's why to expensive I don't know how anyone can afford it and there's no generics to buy.

Helped my shortness of breath - but not liking the side effects since I've been on it

Slight palpitations and fatigue

I feel better .. was using Advair previously with singlair

TRELEGY ELLIPTA (FLUTICASONE FUROATE; UMECLIDINIUM BROMIDE; VILANTEROL TRIFENATATE): This product is used to control and prevent symptoms (such as wheezing and shortness of breath) caused by ongoing lung disease (chronic obstructive pulmonary disease-COPD, which includes chronic bronchitis and emphysema). Controlling symptoms of breathing problems helps you stay active. This inhaler contains 3 medications: fluticasone, umeclidinium, and vilanterol. Fluticasone belongs to a class of drugs known as corticosteroids. It works by reducing swelling of the airways in the lungs to make breathing easier. Umeclidinium belongs to a class of drugs known as anticholinergics and vilanterol is a LABA medication. Both drugs work by relaxing the muscles around the airways in the lungs so they open up to make breathing easier. Both drugs are also known as bronchodilators. This medication must be used regularly to be effective. It does not work right away and should not be used to relieve sudden shortness of breath. If sudden breathing problems occur, use your quick-relief inhaler as prescribed. This medication is not approved to treat asthma. (Sources: U.S. Centers for Medicare Services, FDA)

After taking flagly i get nauses it wakes me even in the middle of the night.i can feel it when am breathing coming through my nouse and my throught ...

I've never had panic attacks like this before ever, heart racing, hyperventilating into a paper bag. Only able to sleep an hour or two a night. I kept thinking it would get better but it got consistently worse with each passing day (including sexual side effects). Acute anxiety, panic attacks, and sexual problems went away after only a day or two off this unacceptable drug.

The first two months went ok, and it did help my mood swings, but I began to get acne and had spotting for 12 days out of each month mid-cycle. My doctor said my spotting was because of this pill so he switched me to another pill.

Fatty stools if eaten high fat meals, achy teeth

I have had a 20 lb weight gain within 2 months, edema, swollen ankles, legs, thighs, body, hair loss, back and joint pain, cold intolerance. Sometimes hard to focus, loss of stamina, sex drive, itch all over, and dry skin, especially legs and arms.

Dry, peeling lips and skin, eczema behind ears, conjunctivitis, some skin redness, dry eyes, lack of appetite.

My daughter was prescribed this for possible asthma and a horrible cough that was keeping her up at night. The day after her first dose she broke out it in hives, lost her appetite and threw up. She's since stopped, but two days after she's still getting random hives. This medication is awful. Never give it to your child.

I only experienced the side effects when placed on a high dose for a few months at a time. If you are on it short term I don't think you see too many side effects.

Clomid is good for achieving pregnancy, however, now (my twin sons are 24)...I believe that the medical challenges they have undergone may be due to taking Clomid. One son had Tourette's growing up and now is living with Schizophrenia. My other son battled APL Leukemia at age 17 and thank God is doing well now. Both of these have to deal with chromosomal abnormalities. I just wanted to post this simply to caution others to research it more before trying.
