I only took this medication as needed so it took me some time to figure out that this drug was making me ill. Developed severe anxiety symptoms, never had anxiety before, Ended up in hospital with suspected heart attack or stroke. Also suffered diarrhoea, exhaustion, severe headache, pins and needles in hands and feet. Neck pain. Tremors all over. Felt like I was dying. Still having some of the symptoms 4 months after stopping Nexium. Not anyway as severe but still frustrating to manage. Anyone else having long-term effects after stopping medication. Really scary medication..

(Using Ambien CR)no side effects to speak of.

panic attacks depression bipolor

metallic taste, dizziness, nausea, possibly carcinogenic effect, but can't be proved

Works well for allergy drys up mucus, just not worth the bad side effects it made me feel terrible. I didn't think something you can buy in supermarkets off the shelf would have such bad side effects !

Took one pill-- called the doctor and said I wouldn't take anymore.

Recommended, dryness, irritation.

Rapid fire panic attacks as never before, feeling very agitated, muscle tightness in legs, difficulty breathing, foul taste in mouth and just plain unwell, crying spells yet numb.Rash, severe itching flushed face.

extreme drowsiness, mild hallucinations, dizziness

I have never had side effects from a drug like I had with this stuff. I have been off of it and I am still experiencing moderate to bad side effects. Confusion, dizziness, horrible fatigue, weak leg muscles feeling like rubber. With that said I have been in the ER three times. Thinking I had a stroke or heart attack. Nothing from any test I had. The medical professionals think I am nuts. I was having severe sinus issues. Now that I have stopped no more issues. I can breathe again. Still headaches persist. General fatigue still there. I am feeling. Bit better today. Taking Wellbutrin has seemed to help. Also taking a magnesium, potassium supplement. Also take a GNC multivitamin. I cannot believe this drug made me feel like I felt. I felt like I was going to die no joke. What I want to know is how long it took you to feel better? Please anyone let me know. This drug is POISON!
