Extreme crippling malaise. Numb tongue. Lethargy and fatigue.
Side effects include making me feel uptight with anxiety, buzzing in the ear, insomnia, finger and toe spasms.
TELMISARTAN (TELMISARTAN): This medication is used to treat high blood pressure (hypertension). Lowering high blood pressure helps prevent strokes, heart attacks, and kidney problems. Telmisartan belongs to a class of drugs called angiotensin receptor blockers (ARBs). It works by relaxing blood vessels so blood can flow more easily. I started taking this in late May and got sicker and sicker by the day until I finally realized it was Prilosec. Went to ER 3 times for black out migraines, chest pain and constant muscle twitches and cramping. I started having panic attacks and thought I had some terminal disease. Thank God I stumbled across this website. It helped me realize it was Prilosec. 3 days after stopping it, I am back to my old self, but with the silent reflux back. I would rather take a natural route for it than to take this poison. Never again and it should be pulled off the market!
When I took it alone I had a constant buzzing in my ears and insomnia. Once the dose was reduced and it was combined with Celexa/Lexapro it has been a godsend. (The Celexa/Lexapro killed my libido and the combination got it back for me.)
not sure whether blood pressure has improved yet. If it is causing the way I feel I wont be able to continue
Nine hours after injection my arm became very sore. Loaded up on ibuprofen before bed, but by the next morning it was still very sore. Had neck, shoulder pain and an overall feeling of being sick. By the second evening I was feeling much better but the next morning had rash on my inner arms. Overall, it is manageable with ibuprofen and much better than getting shingles.
