Chest pain, skin irritation, burning sore throat, insomnia
The sore throat occurred the first day as did minor pain in left breast and 'burning' sensation on the skin of my back.
SPIRIVA RESPIMAT (TIOTROPIUM BROMIDE): Tiotropium is used to treat lung diseases such as asthma and COPD (bronchitis, emphysema). It must be used regularly to prevent wheezing and shortness of breath. It works by relaxing the muscles around the airways so that they open up and you can breathe more easily. Tiotropium belongs to a class of drugs known as anticholinergics. Controlling symptoms of breathing problems can decrease time lost from work or school. This medication must be used regularly to be effective. It does not work right away and should not be used to relieve sudden breathing problems. If wheezing or sudden shortness of breath occurs, use your quick-relief inhaler (such as albuterol, also called salbutamol in some countries) as prescribed. I felt terrible the first cpl days but I notice now I don't avoid places or activities, no butterflies, no stomach issues, no heart racing.not craving a xanax anymore to take the edge off.also no sexual side effects!!(Yay).. So far its working! May need to experiment with uping it soon only if down the road I see I may want to maybe to 15mg 3xs a day.

I took the first day dose and felt really good. That night I couldn't sleep. I decided not to take the medication anymore. On night 2 still no sleep. I began experiencing high anxiety and on night 3 and still unable to sleep. My doctor prescribed xanax, which hasn't helped and I took a sleeping pill which really didnt help either. Worst experience of my life.
Pretty much everything described on this site -from severe anxiety to a carpal tunnel - like sensation in my left arm.Joint pain, chronic headaches that wouldn't allow me to lift my head off the pillow on waking and dizziness all followed. Felt sick all the time and the drug gave me GERD symptoms (lump in throat, full feeling, discomfort) taste and smell peversions, joint pain. 2 weeks after quitting the drug I am still experiencing 'flash' episodes of random side effects, some I can't remember experiencing when I was taking the drug. Wierd!.BE WARNED!
