Sivextro (tedizolid phosphate) Side Effects, Uses Dosages

Side Effects for Sivextro (tedizolid phosphate)

Extreme weakness and fatigue. Short of breath.

I was using Zyvox for Bronchiectasis. The pulmonologist wanted to discontinue it and use something similar. I had no problems with. Zyvox. The Sivextro has not worked as well and has caused some side effects that are unpleasant. Swelling of my face and legs, shortness of breath, fatigue. I am going to stop it short of the necessary time to finish the round…..14 days of this has been no fun at all.

I took a 7-day dose, and although on the first day the medicine helped remove the intense kidney pain I was experiencing, the UTI recurred 3 days after the last dose was taken. Now taking Levaquin for the UTI

Not sure what is more disheartening, three years of an expensive drug that most likely caused me more harmthan good, or my doctor's adamance that Boniva did not cause any of the problems I described.

This medication has really been a life saver for me, it counteracts the sedative effects of Klonopin and Trileptal for me and allows me to make it through the day. Best of all, it gives you energy but not jitters.

Doctor told me she prescribed it as a substitute for xanax. If the govt won't cover it for veterans how was passed byFDA.

alergic to mold, bad on rainy days

I have not had any side effects so far.

Treatment Resistant Depression

I felt like I had been drinking for hours "loopy" for a better choice of words !

It seems to help a lot but doesn't get rid of all my stomach pain. I could do without the drowsiness, but can live with it. When I'm up and around it doesn't bother me; only when I'm sitting does it make me sleepy.

Shaking, irritable, no sex drive wasn't depressed but now I am depressed what's the point of living if you are going to be in pain
