QVAR REDIHALER (BECLOMETHASONE DIPROPIONATE): Beclomethasone is used to prevent and control symptoms (wheezing and shortness of breath) caused by asthma. This medication belongs to a class of drugs known as corticosteroids. It works by reducing the swelling of the airways in the lungs to make breathing easier. This medication must be used regularly to prevent breathing problems (attacks of wheezing/shortness of breath). It does not work right away and should not be used to relieve an asthma attack. I was on 80 mg twice per day. Extra beats went from 3,400 to 10,000. Could not sleep,would come home from work and crash. Tired all the time. Doctor has changed to Rythmol today. Keep fingers crossed.

I will not go back on this medication. I read about gentle vibration as a treatment for osteoporosis and I want to find out more about that.
It worked well for the first 6-7 years, then I started getting severe headaches during my week off. My dr. placed me on continous use, such that I didn't have a week off, but the spotting got really bad after 6 weeks and I had a low-grade headache anyway, so I took it off and had my period. Still had severe headaches when not wearing it.
Topamax was initially a life saving drug for me. I suffered with cluster migraine headaches and was losing my job. Started out taking 25 mg twice a day and ended taking max dosage 400mg daily. I experienced tingling in my hands and feet, ringing in my ears (that now won't go away), gastroentestinal problems, lost 100lbs in one year, forgetfulness, inability to concentrate, lightheaded, sleeplessnes and so many other things!

I will never take this drug again after suffering severe pain in legs. Had to miss work, used massage and whirpool therapy to help alleviate the discomfort. I wish the doctor was honest and told me about these side effects before taking this awful drug.
Called and talked to nurse. She said that some symptoms didn't sound like a reaction or side effect. She talked to Dr. and he said the same thing. I fired him on the spot. Found this site and am angry that they are able to prescribe this med. So many people have suffered. Talked to pharmacist and he said that indeed this was a terrible reaction and I could feel affects for a long time because of the reaction. It's been over 3 months, and still have some side effects. As I stated before...I took 2 pills!
Have been taking Sporanox for a few days to eradicate yeast infection. In the meantime, I decided to purchase the Monistat cream to help with the burning & itching. What a mistake!!!!I used Monistat years ago many times without a problem so am wondering what the deal is now. Don't use this product.
