Was on allopurinol. Had to get off because of the nasty side effects.
PROBENECID (PROBENECID): This medication is used to prevent gout and gouty arthritis. It will not treat a sudden/severe attack of gout and may make it worse. Probenecid belongs to a class of drugs known as uricosurics. It lowers high levels of uric acid in your body by helping the kidneys to get rid of uric acid. When uric acid levels get too high, crystals can form in the joints, causing gout. Lowering uric acid levels may also help your kidneys. Probenecid may be prescribed in combination with certain antibiotics (such as penicillins). It increases the levels of antibiotic in the blood, which helps the antibiotic work better. I could not tolerate the other thyroid meds, tried this one as last resort...cytomel is the only one that works for me. The dry skin/scalp, fat tongue/swollen eyes, cold sensitivity, mood swings/irritability, fatigue/weakness, foggy head,...etc every thing cleared up with cytomel.
mild nausea, stomach pain at first then it went away, vivid dreams and nightmares, shakiness, dry mouth - but mild.
I fight for last 5 years to get off clonazepan. This is not a medicine, it's a poison. Should be forbidden.

I only take it when I need it, but it does really work good. I sometimes take an enzyme papaya pills. I had to change my whole diet. Almost everything I eat makes me sick and I throw up every 2 weeks, so I am experimenting with foods. I mostly try not to eat too much. Eating veggies and seafood. Cant eat tomatoe sauce, butter, eggs or coffee all the time.
