Side Effects for Orudis kt (ketoprofen)

All in all, Orudis (ketoprofen) seems to help with chronic pain, but as another patient mentioned, it seems to be less effective the longer you take it. The only real problems I've had with it are bouts of being painfully constipated & acid reflux if I don't remain completely upright for 30 minutes (no bending over allowed).

Take the drug intermittently for 5yrs for osteorarthritis (neck) I found that when I first commenced the drug 5yrs ago it provided better relief than I currently experience.

ORUDIS KT (KETOPROFEN): Ketoprofen is used to relieve pain from various conditions. It also reduces pain, swelling, and joint stiffness from arthritis. Since the sustained-action form does not work right away, it is best used to treat ongoing conditions (such as arthritis). Other drugs or forms should be used when quick relief is needed (such as of toothache, headache, or menstrual pain). This medication is a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID). It works by blocking your body's production of certain natural substances that cause inflammation. This effect helps to decrease swelling, pain, or fever. If you are treating a chronic condition such as arthritis, ask your doctor about non-drug treatments and/or using other medications to treat your pain. See also Warning section. This is the WORST BP meds EVER! I currently take 50 mg of Lorsartan and 2.5mg of Bystolic at night. let me tell you, my doctor wanted me to believe that it was just anxiety. I am now suffering shakiness, numbness in my left hand and arms, heartbeat beat slowly, my chest is always hurting and always feeling tight, I have a constant nagging headache, dizzy when I wake up, eyes twitching and yes memory loss, and have no energy to do nothing. I stop all my vitamins cause I thought they were the problems. NOPE, it's the Bystolic. I'm going on 4 months and the side effects are even worse. I am finally listening to my body and I am completely taken myself off of Bystolic and would rather change my lifestyle than take this. yes it lowers my BP but what good is it if it's killing you SLOWLY.

Chills, nausea, pounding headache, bloated feeling in abdomen.

No weight loss yet but it has helped the severity of my headaches so far. CAN ANYONE TELL ME IF THEY HAVE HAD THE OUT-OF-THE-BLUE BRUISING I'VE BEEN HAVING??? It's got me worried!!!

The first few days were difficut in the sense that I felt a little fast as if I had had one too many cups of coffee. My tummy was a bit upset and I noticed when making dinner for my family that I hadn't eaten all day. After dose 2 of the WellbutrinXL 150 I felt like I had a chance again. I had the energy to accomplish my daily routine. Everything seemed challenging before. Simple tasks like making the kids lunches, packing backpacks and remebering to charge my cell phone before just exhausted me.

I wanted to post a comment on here because I had very bad side effects from taking Monistat 1 a year ago. With Monistat 1 I experienced the extremely painful burning that other women have mentioned. I had a MUCH better experience with Monistat 3. I've done one day of treatment so far, and I was expecting to wake up in the middle of night in pain, and I never did.

I am currently sitting at my desk in work waiting for my doctor to call me back and I am scared to stand up because I think my legs will just collapse. I have already been on a course of penicillin which didn't work so i was put on erthromycin and not only do I feel unwell off my infection but this has just made me feel even worse - it appears that others have had a similar experience to me.

This drug is bad news, please stay away from it.

Anxiety, high blood pressure, dry mouth

I've always gotten motion sick easily, but about a year agoI began feeling off-balance all the time and started having migraines. I was having bad nausea almost daily. Meclizine saved my life. At 25mg/day to day and a half, I'm usually good. It does make me dizzy, especially if I take it before bed. It works better for me in the morning, but you do have to adjust to the tiredness. It would make me dizzy, but I didn't care about it because the nausea was gone. Occasionally, it seemed to make me sick, but I still use it when neededIt also saved my life on a cruise when I got extremely motion sick. I could not hold down even a little water, and thought I was going to die. The ship gave me 50 mg and I was cured in 45 min.

does slaughter a lot of anxiety at high doses HOWEVER... bad for memory, dumbs down my responsiveness, cannot find the right word etc. having an addictive personality i have to watch how much of this i use, very addictive stuff. good med all in all tho...
