OMEPRAZOLE MAGNESIUM (OMEPRAZOLE MAGNESIUM): Omeprazole is used to treat certain stomach and esophagus problems (such as acid reflux, ulcers). It works by decreasing the amount of acid your stomach makes. It relieves symptoms such as heartburn, difficulty swallowing, and persistent cough. This medication helps heal acid damage to the stomach and esophagus, helps prevent ulcers, and may help prevent cancer of the esophagus. Omeprazole belongs to a class of drugs known as proton pump inhibitors (PPIs). (Sources: U.S. Centers for Medicare Services, FDA)

I have had bouts with depression all my life. I was misdiagnosed with Bi-Polar during a terribly abusive marriage. I was put on 50mg of Zoloft by the second dose I called my doctor because it made me so tense my jaw was clentched to the point I had to relax it with my hand. Two months later we tried 10 mg of Paxil. It gave me the energy I needed and was the safest of all my choices while nursing. I thought that Paxil was great aside from the iritability I experienced. However, I have seen the light now. I am so please with the Wellbutrin at 300mg. I am no more cranky than usual, still feel energetic and am once again hopeful. The only negative comment I have is one of safety. I missed three doses while out of town and had ALOT of trouble keeping it together. It has been 60 days now and I would hope that I am not that dependant on the drug. The high/low was very frightening for me.

this is the 2nd time i've taken provera and i find it MUCH better than prometrium. the prometrium gave me mega headaches and dizziness which were truly unbearable.

Sharp tingling in heels, toes, fingers, elbows, arms, sleepiness, memory loss/confusion, constant headache, severe depression, homicidal thoughts, constant ringing in ears, difficulty sleeping, thirsty all the time, back and neck pain, lack of concentration, spelling words wrong (I am an honor roll student, and my grades slipped in every subject; up to 14 points in 3 weeks), nausea, vomiting.

I phoned them and they said they could only give me the information in the leaflet because I'm a patient. They said there was more but could only be given to healthcare professionals. This guinea-pig suffers without the pain killers which have since been prescribed because I don't trust them and will take no more of their rubbish. This thing and things likeit should not be given to people. So glad I looked it up and read about other people because I was thinking all sorts.

Abdominal pain, bloating, dizziness, dry mouth.

extreme disorientation, passed out, the "fuzzyness" lasted for over 24 hours and couldnt walk or stand without falling down.

Mood swings, extreme depression, extreme anxiety, agressivity, feeling exhausted all the time, loss of apetite, weight loss, loss of sex drive, yeast infection, extremly dry skin, cramps, heartache...

This is a great drug for depression and social anxiety. I feel normal around people for the first time in my life. Before, people always made me nervous, anxious or just uncomfortable in some way. The nice thing about Zoloft is that it feels natural and it doesn't seem like I'm "on" a drug. I feel normal, though I know the drug is working. Considering how my life was before taking Zoloft, the side-effects are well worth it!

I am very concerned that my son, now 5, may be adhd...and this may be linked to my use of this drug (as directed by my OB/GYN)..I am not happy that I did not have all the information that I needed before making an intelligent choice to take this for pre-term labor...

It really helped me deal with the pain but it is not worth the risks of the side affects or the price! This stuff is expensive!!
