Sorry to say...but this particular drug...Omeprazole is absolutely horrible at the least.I'm in good health with a good blood pressure reading.Unfortunately since taking this prescribed drug about 8 days ago with no other on going medication. It has made my blood pressure go up rather significantly, but still deemed normal by medical professionals. Fine.The fact that it has made my pressure rise with other side effects such as Heart palpitations, pins and needles, shortness of breath is not good at all. I'm dismayed.I was rather delighted to read that other people having similar symptons to myself.I'll probably stop taking this horrible drug and find an alternative since my symptons are not severe.To cure it.Good luck...think twice.

lower back ache sometimes, however now that I'm doubling the dose, may be causing a bit of a headache. 2 180's.
It works for my pain, but does not help me to sleep. Can't take it past 4:00 pm or won't sleep well. Dr. thinks I'm crazy says she "never hears that about Lortab" I think she thinks I'm lying to get a stronger med! Not the case only take one a day, 4/5 days a week. My Mom had same reaction after surgery and her Dr. told her the same thing my doctor did "never heard that before."Frustrating. She had to suffer without pain meds, only advil after surgery. Wish Dr's would look at this site and listen to their patients!!!
TAKE THE DRUG OFF THE MARKET IT IS EVIL.
My Father had pneumonia and took Levequin for 7 days. Now he is in the hospital with severe leg weakness. His legs are fine when he is lying, but when he stands, his knees buckle under him. I am heading to the hospital to talk to the doctors! All of his tests(bloodwork, CT scans, etc.) have been normal, so I think the Levequin did this. He is normally very active, and has been a couch potatoe for over 2 weeks. He has no appetite, and has lost 12 pounds. As a nurse, I am shocked that so many patients are having severe adverse effects from this drug, yet it is still commonly prescribed!
VIVID DREAMS not bad but real and linked to stuff that happens to me during the day. Been off it for 8 years but whatever part of my brain it unlocked is still open. I like it.
Hypoglycemia. Legs swelling/edema. Weight gain (8 lbs in 1 week) even with diet and regular high intensity exercise.
drowsiness, difficulty urinating, EXTREME dry mouth and its a thirst I couldn't quench, feeling quite foggy and just dragged out along with difficulty/slow speaking. However, I know that Cogentin is a first line treatment to the EPS side effects caused by anti-psychotics...so I'm sure it works for many people but I personally had a bad reaction
This is my very first experience with Claritin D 12 hrs. I felt at first a warmth sensation in my face and some tingly feeling under my face skin. Dry mouth, fast heart beat.
Increased appetite-especially for sweets which caused a huge weight gain, constant drowsiness even though I slept like a baby. Over time it actually made my migraines a lot worse and I had no idea it was from elavil. Anxiety and panic attacks started later on that I have NEVER had in my life.
Not sure of any - maybe slight memory loss (but I can't remember) :)
