I have taken him off singulair. He has been off for 2 days and it is a slow process, but I am starting to see him return to normal. This medication should not be on the market.
I have tried all SSRI's and this so far is the best. I take 100-150 mg per day. I was surprised because alot of the pharmacies don't even carry it anymore. Helped my anxiety, obsessive thoughts, which in turn eased my depression. I would highly recommend it.

This is the WORST birth control pill, NO SEX DRIVE, SEVERE mood swings (my poor husband), weight gain (10-15lbs.), Very Bad Temper, Made me angry for no reason, always took it out on him (my poor husband) like I didn't have any feelings, gave him no affection. I am a total BITCH on this pill, my adivce is DO NOT TAKE it. Worst feeling, I am always tired & beyond a bitch on this pill.

When I started the drug it gave me chills and motion sickness. I was on a minimal dose of 25 mg. for blood pressure. After 4 months I started having palpitations (heart pounding but no rapid pulse) about 2 hours before next dose was due. I also had chest tightness and shortness of breath doing very little, and I do NOT have a history of asthma. I had some chest twinges with exertion, such as climbing stairs. Getting off of it was HELL!
There don't seem to be any reports about this blindness, believe me - my doctors and I have researched it. Obviously, not everyone has the problem -- I haven't seen any reports on this site. My doc is contacting the manufacturer to inquire about/report the situation.Pro: This is the one drug that lifted me out of my suicidal state three years ago. I finally saw the light at the end of the tunnel. I only got off of it about six months later "just in case" it was responsible for my blindness. Upon taking it again this October for a more managable depression, within four weeks, the black spots obstructing my vision grew considerably larger. I'm giving Geodon a try for now.
Bloating, nausea, headache, and extreme breast tenderness!!! Gained at least a cup size (which is great, since I was a B), but they are so painful I have to keep them strapped down at all times with a sports bra, even when I sleep.
My numbers went down from 245 to 112 and happy about that. Lost 5lbs so far due to not feeling hungry and sick to my stomach. My numbers are dropping so fast that I have to have some sugary product so it doesn't drop too low. I am very satisfied with it other than feeling like crap all the time.
