This medication made me a complete utter zombie and made me have memory loss. I would fall asleep anywhere and everywhere on a regular basis and forget where I was. I'm generally an upbeat spirit but caused me to be very dull and numb for days that my family got concerned. I would not recommend it what so ever.

I have had no problems with this drug, I make sure I take it properly as directed. My Dr said that 1 in 4 people that have a hip fracture die within 12 months- I don't want to end up in a nursing home and I don't want another fracture.
Severe hair loss after taking Duloxetine 20mg,which was increased to 30mg,then reduced to 20. Beware of side effect.Have stopped taking the drug.
i am SO happy i found this site. i thought i was going even crazier than i already am. only been taking 20mg nightly for 5 days, so was going to stick it out, but now i feel validated and plan to stop. have been completely unable to get out of bed in the morning. general lack of focus throughout the day. the worst part tho, is nightly boughts of mania. i've never had this before- i'm getting lots done like cleaning, doing dishes, organizing, etc! but completely unable to sit and get things like *my job* done. also experiencing ful blown panic attacks. will definitly talk to doctor now about discontinuing this medication.

Has worked wonders for depression and as a mood stabilizer. I also lost the 60 lbs. from the drug I was on before (Zyprexa/olanzapine). Energizing instead of making me feel like a zombie. Love it.
