Nucala has given me my life back. Have gone from being housebound to playing tennis. I feel like a new person
I'm still taking this medication. Update: no further side effects since 2 weeks post first administration. Nucala has definitely improved breathing capacity. It's great not to cough and to be able to take a deep breath.
The first shot no side effect the second shot stomach cramps ,back pain, head pain and anxiety I am scare to continue.
I really need help with my nasal polyps. I can't smell or breathe threw my nose.
Fatigue and joints weakness and skin rashes
Headaches, extreme fatigue, weight gain, severe nerve pain on my face that felt like a burn, joint pain.
Did not help me with my polyps and due to side effects I will not be continuing to try

Horrible joint pain but xo trolled my asthma
It has been a miracle for my asthma. No exacerbations while taking. I have developed eczema on elbows and three fingers. Thanks have experienced a sore throat and sore red tongue.
I want more info about side effects.

first i just had some back pain and headache and was very tired but after about a year i started getting very sick like i had the flu each time after my shots and now during the past 3 months it has gotten so bad i have had fevers and flu and extreme muscle aches and i wake up freezing with my teeth chattering and diarrhea
it has helped my breathing very much but at this point the side effects are definitely not worth it my dr and i have decided to stop the nucala.
I am having visual hallucinations at times
Headache... muscle pain ... very tired
My breathing did improve after a few hours no wheezing.Less productive phlegm but have noticed starting up again.And breathing rattling again but it is early days.
Slight back ache fatigue and noticeable weight gain
Severe Fatigue, Headache, Wheezy, Muscle pain, Nausea, spasms in left leg
I have not long started this and feel terrible, my Asthma is worse and I have needed my Ventolin Inhaler a lot more

It improved my breathing immensely. I no longer feel like I can't get enough air.

Developed Asthma 2yrs after my Bone Marrow Transplant in March 2010. Started Nucala August 2020.So far only side effect is mild headaches. Peak flow levels after second dose are up from my base line of 600 to 620. Had asthma symptom only last week, but for the first time it wasn't that bad and peak flow only fell slightly.Think it's working for me. Still on 5mg of pred, but will reduce to 4mg after the 4th dose.
Some fatigue after injection, weight gain
Seems to be effective for me, and I am thankful
Sweats ,hair loss, back pain, leg cramps ,neck pain

NUCALA (MEPOLIZUMAB): This medication is used along with other medications to control and prevent symptoms (such as wheezing and shortness of breath) caused by asthma. Controlling symptoms of asthma helps you do your normal activities and decreases time lost from work or school. Mepolizumab works by reducing swelling (inflammation) of the airways in the lungs to make breathing easier. Mepolizumab is also used to treat a certain immune system disease (eosinophilic granulomatosis with polyangiitis-EGPA). It helps to control and prevent symptoms (such as wheezing, shortness of breath, runny nose, facial pain) caused by the disease. It works by reducing swelling (inflammation) of the blood vessels and also decreasing the amount of certain white blood cells (eosinophils) which may cause the disease. This medication must be used regularly to be effective. It does not work right away and should not be used to relieve sudden asthma attacks or breathing problems. Congestion pretty bad....little flushing of the face
This drug did help with acne, ovarian cysts and decreased the pelvic pain I was experiencing all month long. It also decreased menstrual cramps and had a lighter flow. I had to go off of it due to increased migraines so they switched me to ortho tri-cyclen lo. The lo decreased my migraines somewhat but didn't help with acne.
Breast began to be tender 2week as I'm going to my 3rd week breast grew I'm way more sleepier than I ever felt. No weight gained. I'll be updated you all with more outcomes in the next 2 weeks
I had a very traumatic experience happen when I was 20 and I had a very difficult time falling asleep and staying asleep. I tried other medications that would give me strange dreams or make me itch. Lunesta has been a lifesaver. I've been taking it for years now and it is the only way I can fall asleep at night.

I could not get a good nights sleep
My depression and anxiety was so paralizing that my days seemed so lonely and lifeless. Wellbutrin has been a wonderful drug. It has evened out my mood and made my days much more pleasant. I must also add that it has increased my sex drive significantly. I have had increased fantacies and multiple orgasims since taking the pill.
I have thinning hair, bouts of diarrhea, and weight loss.
First 3 weeks, total insomnia but energetic nonetheless. Week 4, insomnia gone but near total loss of appetite. Noticed marked improvement in thought patterns and depression within 2 days.
Hard for me to rate my satisfaction because I won't know for a couple of months whether it solved my problem! I feel better though so I'm rating it a "5"!
