Side Effects for Norinyl 1+35 21-day (ethinyl estradiol; norethindrone)

On Orthotricyclen I was very depressed, had heavy periods and gained weight. Once I made the switch, my moods calmed down, I was happier, my weight leveled off and my periods are now light.

I thought I was seriously going crazy...I went from being extremely active to not wanting to get out of bed. I often have major headaches and the cramping is unbearable. I was never put on Ortho-I was just put on TriNessa, but after reading everyone else's same symptoms, I am going to switch today to the Brand Name pill-these symptoms seems way to coincedental to not be the case of a bad pill. thank you!

Since it is a special order medicine, it is somewhat costly. I have Blue Cross, which nicely lowers the price, but RECOMMEND to anybody with a health savings account plan with your employer to PARTICIPATE, so that way you can get your money back on the cost of the drug, and get a nice deduction from your taxes at the end of the year.

to reset periods, am having 2 a mth

Sleepiness. More anxiety first week, then that tapered off. Some of the generics gave me nausea.

-dry mouth-sedation-accomdation troubles (temporary)

effects lasted for days. Initially, hallucinations, anger, anxiety, hostility, attempted to escape from gurney, did not revive for hours, etc. HORRIBLE!!! headaches, disturbed balance, etc, for approximately ten days following.

mouth ulcers, flu like symptoms, neck ache, bronchitus, fevers, chills.

depression, anxiety, migraines

The only change I felt while on Celexa (good or bad) was suddenly not being able to orgasm when I have never had a problem with this before. The problem started immediately upon starting the drug & stopped (thankfully) as soon as I came off of it.

Began to feel withdrawal without missing a dose. Doctors upped several times. I gained a lot of weight -about 50 pounds!! I went off it when I began to have memory lapses. Once I found myself on the toilet wondering who I was, where I was, what day it was, time of day, etc. TERRIFYING!!! so I (obviously) stopped taking it. It was a BRUTAL 6 months of withdrawals. Months of torturous vertigo and what I can only describe as brain buzzing. It felt like when you are falling asleep and jerk awake. I had 5 a minute for months. Awful!!!!
