Mydayis (amphetamine aspartate; amphetamine sulfate; dextroamphetamine saccharate; dextroamphetamine sulfate) Side Effects, Uses Dosages

Side Effects for Mydayis (amphetamine aspartate; amphetamine sulfate; dextroamphetamine saccharate; dextroamphetamine sulfate)

Insomnia, dry mouth, sweating, irritability

Was given this to help with my OCD and ruminating thoughts. I have taken Adderall and Vyvanse before, but I like this one better because it lasts longer. Started off with the highest dose of 50 MG. It worked but the "comedown" effect was bad irritability and a strong return of my obsessive thoughts. Reduced dose to 37.5 and was much better. I can sometimes feel a bit of a crash/comedown effect, but it is nowhere as bad. I am glad I decided to try changing the dose before giving up on this drug. Mydayis can be very expensive, but I paid about $65 with Shire's coupon.

MYDAYIS (AMPHETAMINE ASPARTATE; AMPHETAMINE SULFATE; DEXTROAMPHETAMINE SACCHARATE; DEXTROAMPHETAMINE SULFATE): This combination medication is used to treat attention deficit hyperactivity disorder - ADHD. It works by changing the amounts of certain natural substances in the brain. Amphetamine/dextroamphetamine belongs to a class of drugs known as stimulants. It can help increase your ability to pay attention, stay focused on an activity, and control behavior problems. It may also help you to organize your tasks and improve listening skills. It has not helped me focus. In fact it has "fogged" my memory.

Don't know if I will stay on it or try a natural compounding. am not crazy about having a period for the rest of my life.

I got small involuntary ticks, what struck me to be the most strange was the fact that I felt hungry but when i went to go eat something i felt disgusted at the thought of it, ups and downs of hyperness and a productivity feeling, and the inability to sleep until 7 am the next morning, fast heart rate, and it was hard to sit still.

Severe dizziness, fatigue, constipation, poor wound healing, rashes, hair loss. The dizziness and fatigue diminished greatly with time. After being on for a few months, I started developing skin wounds, rashes and infections that would not heal. Then I noticed that I had bald patches forming on my scalp. I did not notice hair falling out because it affects the forming follicles which turn into something resembling a carpet fuzz. As hair falls out it is not replaced or is replaced by weak and thin hair. Hope it grows back.

When on 75 mcg I would have heart palpations, insomnia but tired, major diarrhea in the morning, and anxious. Have lots of bad days on this medicine. I know its the synthroid bc i was not feeling "drugged" before i was on it. Have no choice. All the doctors say its not synthoid but I find it hard to believe all these people complain of this dizzy brain fog feeling. Endocrinologist dont know crap and dont want to help. I would be on a million prescriptions to treat all these symptoms but I'm not going to fall for this. This is all bc of synthroid... im way to young for this crap and want my life back!

terrible pains in abdomen and severe chills and massive headach would never take this drug again

My child was prescribed this med as a replacement for albuterol that made him 'hyper'. Although better, it still has some behavioral impact and it is expensive!

Insomnia, dark circles, headaches, body aches.

spasm in neck and thoracic spine

Ortho Tri-cyclen was great. However, I did have big time problems when Walgreens switched me to what they called a generic - Trinessa. After this switch set off adult acne (I had never had skin problems before), weight gain and awful mood swings, I consulted my insurer and my doctor. THERE IS NO TRUE GENERIC FOR ORTHO. Google it, you'll see each and every birth control bill contains a very different amount of hormones. Find the one that works for you and stick with it, regardless what the pharmacy says.
