Minivelle (estradiol) Side Effects, Uses Dosages

Side Effects for Minivelle (estradiol)

I sleep much better and the hot flashes are nearly gone. I cut the patches in half several months ago. Weight gain stopped but I haven't been able to lose the extra 10 lbs. despite eating better and regular fitness.

MINIVELLE (ESTRADIOL): This medication is a female hormone (estrogen). It is used by women to help reduce symptoms of menopause (such as hot flashes, vaginal dryness). These symptoms are caused by the body making less estrogen. If you are using this medication to treat symptoms only in and around the vagina, products applied directly inside the vagina should be considered before medications that are taken by mouth, absorbed through the skin, or injected. This medication may also be used by women who are not able to produce enough estrogen (for example, due to hypogonadism, primary ovarian failure). Certain estrogen products may also be used by women after menopause to prevent bone loss (osteoporosis). However, there are other medications (such as raloxifene, bisphosphonates including alendronate) that are also effective in preventing bone loss and may be safer. These medications should be considered for use before estrogen treatment. (Sources: U.S. Centers for Medicare Services, FDA)

MAKES EVERYTHING TASTE HORRIBLE. EVEN ICE TEA WHICH I LOVE BUT COULDN'T DRINK AFTER TAKING THE DRUG.

If you're taking this vile disgusting garbage poison, be prepared for your body to slowly (or rapidly) fall apart and degenerate AFTER YOU STOP THE DRUG....days, weeks, months, or even years later. Doesn't matter if you have blood monitoring, doesn't matter if you feel fine while on it...the effects can all hit you in the future. Be prepared for your body to break apart. It's not worth throwing your life into the garbage bin. Don't listen to all the doctors who want to lie to you and say the severe side effects are extremely "rare", they aren't...i personally know multiple people permanently effected by this drug.

The first week...fatigue (I mean really tired), sweating, cold feet, fogginess, diarrhea...just felt yucky

Took a dose at night and I woke up with flu like symptoms. Doctor said to split the dose and take it in the morning for a few days. Stomach had a rough time tolerating it. Quit it one time cold turkey and ended up with very bad stomach problems. Rapid weight gain but was probably from my appetite coming back.

Dizziness, almost blacking out, heart racing, weakness, tremors, coldsweat

Worked great when I was taking it once in a blue moon for an allergy flare up, but my doctor said to take it every day to treat my tonsil stones. I had to go to the ER multiple times because I thought I was dying. My blood pressure went from perfectly normal to 140/95, I've never felt so weak in my life. It has also caused my entire digestive system to basically reject anything I eat, I'm constantly nauseous and my stomach is full of gas. My heart has been beating really hard and irregularly for a week now, and I have a history of heart failures in my family... I've also felt insane anxiety and had my first panic attack that was purely physical, I didn't have any mental reason/thoughts/feelings to cause that. I haven't been able to sleep well for the past week because I keep waking in the middle of the night in a pool of sweat and panicked. No sleep = even worse heart problems. Do not take this medication regularly, or if you do, know all the possible side-effects so you can stop without it ruining your life and health. If you experience heart side-effects, I highly recommend potassium and magnesium, they help with the recovery.

I started hurting in all my joints and muscles after taking one dose of 750mg of Levaquin. I am still in so much pain and have been taking pain killers

Lacrisert is the WORST product to put in any human eye! The eye is soft, moist and pliable which this product is NOT! The FDA is NOT doing it's job when it approved this LOUSY product. They are probable being paid "under the table" to approve this drug! The L is for LOUSY which this product is! Lacrisert is NOT worth the expense or damage to your eye, folks! Do NOT buy it!

anxiety, Heart palpitation, pain in my left side

loss of word recall, fogginess, most importantly: Lost the ability to go out and do the things I enjoy.
