I have type 2 diabetes for 20 years ,do not take pills or insulin i keep it under control but medrol,Raised blood pressure, sugar in urine, blurred vision, nausea, stomach cramps, insomnia, heaviness in my chest, confused feeling, headache.
Good for asthma, but not with taking for side affects
MEDROL ACETATE (METHYLPREDNISOLONE ACETATE): Methylprednisolone is used to treat pain and swelling that occurs with arthritis and other joint disorders. This medication may also be used to treat various conditions such as blood disorders, severe allergic reactions, certain cancers, eye conditions, skin/intestinal/kidney/lung diseases, and immune system disorders. It decreases your immune system's response to these conditions and reduces symptoms such as swelling, pain, and allergic-type reactions. Talk to your doctor about the risks and benefits of methylprednisolone, especially if it is to be injected near your spine (epidural). Rare but serious side effects may occur with epidural use. felt a little withdrawal for a couple of days since i was only down to 50 mg of methadone a day.
This pill is horrible. I was prescribed this because of my heavy painful periods, I would rather have them. Unless you don't live with anyone I suggest you not take it or else you will tear their head off. The anxiety is horrible, also I cannot sleep, and have severe headaches and worst of all feel sick all the time. I am stopping this pill today.
Overall I'm grateful. Between vaping for the first 6 months and now the lozenges, I quit smoking and have stayed off over a year (after nearly 30 years of smoking)
Terrible. Induced panic attacks, lack of motivation, dark urine, lack of appetite, sick feeling in stomach, soft stool, dizziness and disorientation. Totally anxious 24/7
I was fine after the first couple of packs then started to get really bad headaches and feel really tired and run down all day long and the headaches also prevented me from getting to sleep too. I stuck it out for around 6 months and couldn't take it any longer and came off. As soon as I stopped the pill I was fine and back to my normal self
I changed my life severerly to eliminate migraines. No chocolate, no alcohol, no pop. Not easy to do at 33. I still get migraines over stressful days, lack of sleep, changes in hormone levels, andwhen severe weather fronts move in. Imitrex will always get rid of it. I have to take the full 100mg. If I try to cut it in half, the migraine slips through. I was trying to cut back because the neck and shoulder muscle spam side effect are so bad. I get massages, chiropractic adjustments, cranial sacral therapy and tomorrow I am trying accupuncture. I get the muscles in a nice relaxed state then I need to take an Imitrex for a migrain, and the spasms are back!! They are painful and I take Skelaxin every day to help try to relax the muscles and relieve the pain. I have a headache everyday if I don't take it. I have two small children so I have to take the Imitrex. The migraines would last 3-4 days without out it. It has relieved my migraines but has started a whole new issue wit
Got small rash on arm when first began taking it but increased dosage slowly and rash went away. If you increase dosage slowly enough you won't have trouble with the rash.
