MAXITROL (DEXAMETHASONE; NEOMYCIN SULFATE; POLYMYXIN B SULFATE): This medication is used to treat conditions involving swelling (inflammation) of the eyes and to treat or prevent bacterial eye infections. This product contains neomycin and polymyxin, antibiotics that work by stopping the growth of bacteria. It also contains dexamethasone, an anti-inflammatory corticosteroid that works by reducing swelling. This medication treats/prevents only bacterial eye infections. It will not work for other types of eye infections and may worsen them (e.g., infections caused by viruses, fungi, mycobacteria). A little drowsy and got a skin rash from it
I was taking fexofenadine but my consultant recommended citirizine. After only 3 days my feet swelled so much that I could not walk. My skin stretched so tight, became bruised and turned red and purple. My urticaria turned into huge blood spots and the itch became more intense. I cried from the pain in my feet for the 3 days I was on this medication. I stopped using this on day 4. The swelling receded but left severe bruising all over my body. I regret taking it.
I would not recommend taking this medicine unless you need it for a severe or life-threatening condition.
after being on zoloft for several years, I experienced some catastrophic events and needed a boost. My doctor recommended trying Brintellix. I eventually was up to the max dose of 20mg daily and began feeling unusually numb. I dropped down to 10mg and ever since then I have had terrible bouts between anxiety and full blown paranoia. I just saw my doctor today and made the switch back to zoloft. I will add that the brintellix did help with depression but I never felt like myself on it.
I had the following side effects:insomnia,anxiety,extreme pain throughout my body,panic attacks,depression,heart palpitation,felt hot like burning from the inside out,no appetite;but could eat when food is in front of me, nausea and feeling like I am going CRAZY!!!
20 lb weight gain since taking lasix, even though I urinate 30-40 times per day - I also have intercistal cystitis. During the night my hands draw up like I have severe arthritis. Bloated stomach, short term memory loss, extremely dry mouth, very lethargic.
This medicine is making me miserable, I've never felt so unhealthy. No benefits, expensive and the side effects all amount to a very negative experience. I had an SP (Spontaneous Pneumothorax) this time last year and I was given this inhaler to prevent a reoccurrence but I just can't go on taking this medicine.
