Side Effects for Lyrica cr (pregabalin)

This drug did help my crps nerve pain for a short while but started causing all kinds odd seemingly unrelated medical issues....pain, terrible anxiety, serious brain lapses. Trying to detox was absolutely the worst detox ever. Never want to do that again. Please don't take this drug. Even opioids are a better choice.

LYRICA CR (PREGABALIN): This medication is used to treat pain caused by nerve damage due to diabetes or shingles (herpes zoster) infection. (Sources: U.S. Centers for Medicare Services, FDA)

Increase in migraine headaches (one per period), slight weight gain, and occasional missed period.

Emotional problems - anger, crying, etc.

This is a dangerous drug. I have stopped taking it after only 5 days and will look for other ways to stop smoking. The possible seriousness of side effects are not properly explained. This drug should not be on the market!!!

I have been taking 24 Hour Claritin-D now for 3 days. I stopped because I was having a lot of trouble falling asleep and staying asleep, a problem I never have otherwise. I experienced very wild intense dreaming and nightmares that caused me to wake frequently throughout the night. Claritin-D did not completely eliminate my symptoms, but I did notice that it helped a great deal. I plan to stop using this because I do not like the side effects.

It also restored libido to normal levels, after Lyrica had wiped it out.

once of the worst and scariest days in my life with that constant fainting feeling. I wont use claritin again in my life

Helped much more for anxiety than other drugs I have taken in the last year (celexa, pristiq, wellbutrin, remeron and Viibryd. I feel like this drug is in a whole different category as far as horsepower to get rid of the anxiety. Still to be determined how it will take care of my other depression symptoms, but for anxiety nothing can touch it. Good luck finding someone to prescribe it without going through a checklist of all the newer drugs first.

slight weight gain, headaches, moodiness when time for inj.

So far, extreme insomnia. On Day 6 I did not sleep at all. Surprisingly, I continue to function relatively well. Dry mouth. No sense of other more positive effects at this stage. Will stick it out the month and see.

irritability, aggressive feelings, almost depressed. Amazingly sharp onset within 30 mins of taking them but seems to go after about 3 hrs.
