Shorter lighter period, no acne, breast growth
This pill was wonderful. It cleared up my skin within days of taking it. My periods were shorter and lighter with minimal cramping. My breasts also grew a bit. The only complaint is that I did get a lot of UTIs while on this pill and had never had them before. Don't know if there could be a link. My insurance stopped covering this brand so I have to switch. Hope to find something just as good.
LORYNA (DROSPIRENONE; ETHINYL ESTRADIOL): This medication is a combination of 2 hormones: an estrogen (ethinyl estradiol) and a progestin (drospirenone). This product is used to prevent pregnancy. It works mainly by preventing the release of an egg (ovulation) during your menstrual cycle. It also makes vaginal fluid thicker to help prevent sperm from reaching an egg (fertilization) and changes the lining of the uterus (womb) to prevent attachment of a fertilized egg. If a fertilized egg does not attach to the uterus, it passes out of the body. This medication also may be used to treat premenstrual dysphoric disorder (PMDD) or moderate acne if you have chosen to use birth control pills as your method of pregnancy prevention. Besides preventing pregnancy, birth control pills may make your periods more regular, decrease blood loss and painful periods, and decrease your risk of ovarian cysts. Compazine was a nightmare from hell. I’m a calm person with no mental health conditions, however after the ER admistered compazine in my IV I became psychotic! I wanted to pull out my IV and escape. I asked why I felt this way and they told me “oh sometimes that happens to pt”. WHAT!?! Why is the hell was I not warned!?! I wanted to end my life for those long 45 min I sat in complete darkness. I felt so alone and so uncomfortable i couldn’t bare it. They wouldn’t give me anything to make the side effects stop! Finally after 45 min I became myself again. However I couldn’t sit still and still felt restless. My body wanted to sleep so bad but my mind wouldn’t sleep. This horrific drug took 3 days to wear off! I had tremors the next day. It was the most scariest feeling of my life!
This drug is supposed to be a pain releiver, but it is really more like an antidepressant or a stimulant, (and like most antidepressants - makes it possible for a person in pain to do more, or work harder, when they should be resting). If you have ever had an adverse reaction to antidepressants use extreme caution. I would not recommend it for severe pain.
Took 2 Aleve at 9:15 pm and went to bed around 11:00, awoke around 2:30 am with itching on my hips and it then went to my feet and went to my scalp. It got my hands last and I broke out in hives. It felt like my skin was peeling off, it was burning and stinging as well as itching. I took Benadyl and placed cold wash rags on my ankles and legs. This happened once before after taking Aleve for leg pain. I have taken Aleve and not had any problems. But I am positive now this was Aleve that caused my rash.
I have been taking the shot for 3 years now. It is amazing. If you do your research in the begining it does warn you about all the side effects that could happen but I have only experienced one. (The hunger) But even that is mind over matter. You get a shot once every 3 months and it works incredibly! I would recommend it to anyone!!!!
bipolar with psychotic features
i was on 40mg strattera once a day for 1 month and felt know drastic change in my day to day life, now my doc wants to try me on 60mg, but i found it ultered my personality and i felt like i always want to be by my self, i might just try the 60mg for one more month and see maybe i didn't give it enough time..but i know its better then adderal xr because i took that drug before and felt like i was on cocaine.
My doc prescribed bc SSRI's help my anxiety but make me more depressed in an apathetic way (it's not just teens world!) Wellbutrin at 150 mg is the perfect dose for me (I'm a low dose person, 25mg Zoloft is also perfect for me). It gave me back my energy, prevents me from getting severely depressed. At 300 mg I was way too wired, go-go-go! Unfortunately, it gives me insomnia, which made my circadian sleep disorder worse (DSPS) and made the ADHD I didn't even realize I had severe even at a low dose. So, I have normal energy & motivation (mostly) again - yay! - but I'm very dysfunctional with doing anything. :-( Can't focus, horrific memory, takes forever to do anything, etc. The Zoloft seemed to balance it out, so the ADHD wasn't so bad. However, I'm hoping the seroquel (to help my insomnia) will help decrease the ADHD.
