was struggling with Gastro issues with the prescobix protease inhibitor I was taking alongside to truvada. Kept taking truvada alongside raltegravir and had no issues at all so very happy
No side effects that I'm aware of
I've been taking isentress for over a year, and so far so good. I'm very happy with it. I think people only tend to add reviews of drugs if they've had a bad experience with them. I noticed there was a 1-star review, so I thought I'd add my 5-star review to balance things out a bit. I take Isentress with Kivexa, and I've never had any problems with either of them.
I sleep all day and night and cannot wake up from strange dreams. Worse every day. This is crap!
ISENTRESS (RALTEGRAVIR POTASSIUM): Raltegravir is used with other HIV medications to help control HIV infection. It helps to decrease the amount of HIV in your body so your immune system can work better. This lowers your chance of getting HIV complications (such as new infections, cancer) and improves your quality of life. Raltegravir is known as an integrase inhibitor. It blocks the virus from growing and infecting more cells. Raltegravir is not a cure for HIV infection. To decrease your risk of spreading HIV disease to others, do all of the following: (1) continue to take all HIV medications exactly as prescribed by your doctor, (2) always use an effective barrier method (latex or polyurethane condoms/dental dams) during all sexual activity, and (3) do not share personal items (such as needles/syringes, toothbrushes, and razors) that may have contacted blood or other body fluids. I classify my life as "BZ" & "AZ" (before zoloft and after zoloft). I spent over sixty years depressed before. With zoloft I now know what "normal" life is like. I have been taking Lexapro for more than two years. I used to have very severe social anxieties in which I'd go into freeze, flight, fight mode over every little tiny social situation. My anxiety level has fallen to that of other people's. The benefits from Lexapro are definitely outweighting the negatives of loss of libido and needing extra sleep.I recommend trying Lexapro if you have severe social anxieties. However, Lexapro should not be prescribed lightly. It is a difficult drug to taper off of.As for needing extra sleep, I find that skipping a dose every once in awhile helps.

I'm not sure if any or all of my symptoms are associated with this pill, but they did not start until I began taking it. The most severe and frustrating ones are the inability to sleep. It's like my mind won't rest. I think about random things all night long and can't fall asleep or stay asleep. Also, anytime I drink or eat anything, I have excessive and very smelly gas afterwards. Also, the bloating at all times.
Didn't work at all for my pain.
im 19 have been on depo for the last 2months and can not stand the side effects that come with it. sure it stops you from getting preg but at the same time the side effects make you feel as if you are. i get really dizzy tired all the time moody and get bad anxiety which makes me think of sucidel thoughts i really feel like i am going crazy and hope it will where of soon i have a 20month lil boy and can not deal with these side effects working and looking after him.
Within 24-48 of first dosage I started experiencing gnawing in my stomach relieved by food-peptic ulcer like symptoms for the past 3 days now. And this is after only one dosage of the generic Fosamax drug. Now taking anti-acids to help relieve symptoms. I wonder how long this will last or do I need to see doctor for testing. I was warned about jaw pain, muscle aches and abdominal pain but after doing research of drug, I found that abdominal pain is the number one reason why people stop taking the drug. I will not continue with this medication.
Took to jumpstart my period, that's been missing for almost three months. While I slept really well on the medicine (I took it before bed), the other side effects were less than desiriable. I seriously felt drunk this morning, and didn't feel safe driving my car. This drug has given me the worst case of PMS-like sympotoms I've ever had! It did the trick through, on the 9th day of the meds, my period came.
My dr. told me that this was a mild drug with little side effects and put me on a low dosage. Nope - this drug was like a poison to my body. I would never recommend that anyone take it for any reason. I can't ever recall being that intensely sick - I lost 4.5 pounds in 1 day, and I'm already a skinny gal. Avoid this drug.
